HOLIDAYS AT THE MOOSHOF means being at home in a family-run, non-smoking guesthouse, quietly located in Neustift, in the beautiful Stubaital. When staying at our guesthouse, a car-free vacation is no problem at all as we offer ample parking right in front of the house and all skiing and hiking areas are quickly and easily accessible. Due to our central location, grocery stores, the bus stop as well as a swimming pool with sauna and solarium are all only a few metres away.

The Mooshof apartments in Neustift in the Stubaital offer self-catering accommodation and are thus ideal for families with children, larger groups, but also for couples. A breakfast service is available against a small extra charge. The spacious apartments come with a balcony with stunning mountain views, a fully-equipped kitchen, a flat-screen TV and a bathroom. At our Mooshof guesthouse you cannot only use your apartment, but enjoy the whole house, including a spacious lounge on the ground floor, a cosy terrace with a large garden.

One of the most beautiful hiking and climbing parades in the Stubaital is accessible right from our doorstep. Only 50 m from the guesthouse, you reach the Elfer Panoramabahn that both in winter and summer takes you to the Elferspitze leisure resort at 2,505m and is lovingly referred to as “Elfer” by locals. Once you reach the summit, there are numerous sports opportunities available all year round. Hiking trails across different degrees of difficulty, magnificent nature sights, the Gehzeitenwege trails and mountain tours to the summits of Zwölferspitz and Habicht attract both beginners and climbing enthusiasts to the “Elfer”. And not least because of the Alpine area’s largest walk-on sundial, the “Elfer” resort is always worth a trip.

Thanks to the Stubai Supercard, which is included in our prices in summer, we also offer free public transport during summer months. The card, which you will receive immediately upon arrival, also offers free admission to all the cable cars in the Stubaital, including summer tobogganing and numerous other attractions.

The Elfer resort, of course, has lots on offer for our guests in winter as well: Skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, winter hiking and paragliding. A special feature is the long valley descent that when snow conditions are good is a special experience for sportive skiers thanks to its altitude difference of over 1,000 meters. Here, at the Elfer, you will also find Stubaital’s longest, illuminated, snow-decked and fully groomed toboggan run. With a length of 8 km each, the toboggan runs through idyllic Tyrolean mountain forests, the Elfer-Dorf Neustift and Elfer-Pinnistal runs, are among the longest in Tyrol.

A total of four skiing resorts attract numerous winter sports enthusiasts with unforgettable skiing experiences. Unlimited skiing fun on the Stubai Glacier, family atmosphere in the Schlick 2000 skiing centre in Fulpmes, the friendly ski area of the Serlesbahnen in Mieders as well as the challenging slopes of the Elferlifte resort in Neustift ensure varied holidays in the Stubaital.
