The "Lindenblick" apartment is ideal for larger groups and offers a fully equipped kitchen for 12 people. The glass-enclosed balcony offers expansive panoramic views. The Lindenblick bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a double pull-out sofa! Wi-Fi is available. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. For group bookings of up to 16 people, it will be combined with five other rooms. As an organic farm, we offer many homemade products and services.

Start your day mindfully and powerfully on Saturday morning with a yoga session followed by brunch with Karina. In the afternoon, you'll be at the stadium cheering on the ski flying athletes live – emotion, excitement, and goosebumps guaranteed.

We offer a shuttle service to the Stainach-Irdning train station. From there, an organized shuttle will take you directly to the Kulm ski flying hill – completely relaxed and without the hassle of finding parking.

The Sonnenhof is located on an atmospheric hill surrounded by mountains, with a fantastic view of one of the most beautiful Alpine landscapes in the heart of Austria.


In summer, there are countless opportunities for hiking, climbing or cycling and, at the same time, exploring the most beautiful corners of the area, such as the Gesäuse National Park, the Dachstein or the Salzkammergut.


As a special treat, we have trips to our alpine pasture, where you can get a deep insight into the surrounding mountain range by the campfire. Afterwards, a dip in the "warmest Alpine lake in Styria" makes for the perfect end to the day.


In winter, numerous ski areas attract visitors, such as the Schladming World Cup ski area, the Planneralm, the Riesneralm or the Tauplitzalm. The Planneralm and Riesneralm can be reached by public transport in 35 minutes and we offer a pick-up service from the bus/train station.


Our guests, especially the children, are invited to come with us into the cowshed and watch us feed, milk, mucking out, grooming, jumping in the hay, collecting eggs, tasting fresh milk, etc. We have made it our mission to meet our animals at eye level despite keeping livestock. That's why we converted to a free-range barn with year-round access a few years ago. The animals are out on the pasture from April to October. Our chickens and ducks always have free access. This creates a special rural idyll that is very much appreciated by our guests.


It is also important to us to maintain our food sovereignty. Milk is processed as a hobby into ricotta, mozzarella, yogurt and curd cheese. Jams and chutneys are made from our fruit. I have a particular passion for the alchemy of juices and schnapps! In between, fresh farmhouse bread made from spelt and rye on a sourdough basis is also baked!


In our community, we grow outdoor vegetables with several families and share the harvest among ourselves. Therefore, there is also a lot for vegetarians and vegans to discover on the farm.


The orchard is the place of power, where you can feel the power of the old trees again, far away from the noise of everyday life. We accompany you with yoga exercises into a more conscious state of mindfulness.


We like to make music around the campfire and roast delicious corn on the cob, or maybe you just want to linger in the hammock and read a book.


As a special "treat", we have an alpine hut at 1300 meters above sea level, which offers a deep insight into the surrounding mountains. Ideal for groups and families. Doing things together creates a feeling of oneness. Wood is chopped for the campfire and cooked in the kitchen. The rippling water of the well can be heard in the background.

The children splash around in the jacuzzi and you stand in the outdoor shower and enjoy the wide panoramic view of the mountains, the alpine landscape, the cows and the forest. It is an invigorating place for forest education, sunrise tours and star hikes.


IMPORTANT BOOKING TIPS:

-Weekend trips are cheaper in the low season, as a short overnight stay is only charged up to the second night!

-In the high season, the short overnight stay flat rate drops up to the 3rd night and is waived from the 4th night!

-The price is reduced if more people sleep in the apartment/room,

-Rooms with central kitchen use can be booked!

-Rooms without culinary offerings or central kitchen use cannot be booked!
