Beskrivelse

A beautiful gem has been created in the garden of the Jacobshof from a former chicken coop, hence the name "Le Coq," featuring its own terrace and a small lawn, surrounded by beech hedges. A special highlight is the sauna. The living area includes a modern kitchenette with numerous kitchen appliances (electric stove, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, espresso machine, kettle, hand mixer), a cozy seating area with a historic cast-iron stove, bookshelf, CD player, flat-screen TV, dining table, and 2 lounge chairs. The entrance area has a separate toilet and a shower room. On the first floor, behind a gallery with seating and a desk, are the two bedrooms arranged one behind the other. The furnishings and decorations form a successful combination of country house style and antiques. Additionally, guests have access to the entire garden with various seating options, a barbecue area, as well as a rocking chair and table tennis table.

A steep, open staircase leads to the first floor, which, in our opinion, is not suitable for small children.

The Jacobshof is located on a 3500 sqm property, surrounded by several old farmhouses in Oberstedem. The large garden offers many opportunities for activities, cozy corners invite you to rest, a grilling area is available, and garden furniture and sun umbrellas are provided. For bad weather, there are plenty of games and books available; the holiday apartment Eifelblick has its own library with several hundred offerings ranging from novels, crime fiction, Eifel literature to art and history. The holiday home "Le Coq" additionally has its own sauna.
Optimal for relaxation on site and an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours or excursions to Trier, Luxembourg, Metz, or Nancy. Special feature: Visit to the museum glass collection is possible.
