Salomone 8 is an apartment located on the second floor consisting of an entrance hall, bathroom with shower, kitchen / living room with 2 single sofa beds and mezzanine with bedroom, furnished with a queen size bed. The kitchen also comes with a nice little balcony equipped with 2 comfortable chairs and a table, with a side sea view.
The location is absolutely charming: a historic building (18th century) located in the heart of Ortigia, a few meters from the Duomo, the Arethusa Fountain and several architectural masterpieces that can range from different styles and eras.

Furnished with taste and care for detail (from the elegant wooden ceilings to the refined terracotta floor), the apartment comes with satellite TV, free wifi, air conditioning / heat pump, hairdryer, microwave oven and a shared laundry.

The apartment has been completely renovated and its location is super convenient: it is located a few steps from the Arethusa Fountain and Piazza Duomo, as well as from many restaurants, cafes, pizzerias. At about 50m you will find the small beach of Cala Rossa as well as the bus stop. Also, many food shops and other services are available nearby.

About 800 m from the apartment is the Talete car park with excellent rates for long stays.

Leaving the ancient Greek city and going toward the south, the best equipped beaches worth of a visit are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name is due to the natural sweet spring water and to the unique white sand. Then, In the island of Ortigia there are some equipped solarium (Zefiro and Nettuno), as well as the free beach of Cala Rossa. Going further south, about 30 kms far away from Siracusa, there are amazing and wild beaches: Calamosche, Vendicari with its Wildlife Park and the precious San Lorenzo. For those looking for cultural and historical sites, it is recommended to visit Teatro Greco and its archeological site with the famous Orecchio di Dionisio (a limestone cave shaped as a human ear), the Museum Paolo Orsi, then the Latomie dei Cappuccini, and finally the island of Ortigia with its natural and historic eye-catching landscapes. Finally, our guests should visit the town of Noto, the seafront of Tonnara di Avola and the fisherman village of Marzamemi.
