The apartment is barrier-free and has a special entrance with hallway. The entrance is behind the house. In the hallway, the bicycles you have brought with you can be stored and charged. The apartment has three bedrooms, a large kitchen and a large living room with a sofa bed and a flat-screen TV. In addition to the large bathroom with shower, there is also a separate guest toilet.

The beds are made, and there are plenty of shower and terry towels in the bathroom.

The covered terrace is 5x4m, bedroom 1 is equipped with a double bed (2x2m), bedroom 3 with a 1.4x2m bed, bedroom 3 with a 0.9x2m bed. The sofa bed in the living room is 1.4x2m.

The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. Oven, induction hob, dishwasher, capsule coffee machine (Aldi), microwave, toaster, Egg and kettle, blender, fridge freezer, plenty of pots, crockery and cutlery.

With a large covered terrace and a garden all to yourself, the Apfelbaum apartment in the middle of the Volcanic Eifel offers overnight accommodation for up to six people including Wi-Fi and three associated parking spaces. Located in a quiet, relaxing residential area, you can expect barrier-free access and apartment. Various supermarkets with bakery and fresh food counter are within walking distance.

The Apfelbaum holiday apartment is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours, but the "little" guests are not neglected either: Daun Wildlife and Adventure Park, Pelm Eagle and Wolf Park, Klotten Wildlife and Leisure Park or Tolli Park Mayen can be reached quickly by car.

The newest attraction of the Volcanic Eifel, the Ulmener Maarstollen is only about 1 km away on foot. The Maarstollen connects the Jungferweiher with the Ulmener Maar. The walk around the pond is barrier-free and an Eldorado for nature lovers. During the walk around the maar you can visit the castle ruins and have a wonderful view of the maar from there. However, swimming is not allowed in either water. The Gillenfelder Maar, Schalkenmehrener Maar and the Gemündener Maar are bathing waters with bathing facilities and are located in the immediate vicinity of the Apfelbaum holiday apartment.

Many of the most beautiful hiking trails in Germany, which have been chosen by well-known hiking magazines, are right on the doorstep: VulkanMaar Trail, Lieser Path, "In the Valley of the Wild Endert" or "HeimatSpur Waterfall Adventure Route" to name just a few and give you a foretaste of eventful trails.



If you bring your bike, the Volcanic Eifel, which is well worth seeing, offers you many possibilities. Nature starts on the doorstep and you can start directly from the apartment. Disused railway lines also invite you to great tours, starting point is, for example, Daun or Mayen.

Other tips for holiday activities are the Nürburgring, the Dauner Maare, Bad Bertrich with the Vulkaneifel-Therme, Cochem with the Reichsburg and Bundesbank bunker, Mayen with the Genovevaburg and Bürresheim Castle, Manderscheid with the two castles or Eltz Castle - again just a selection of inspiring sights.
