When the summer morning sun rises behind the Hochtor Group, the dew drops transform the country into a glittering El Dorado, it is clear that there are still small paradises in this world. Our farm is located in the middle of one. Proof of this, is not only the beautiful landscape around us, but also a very special plant that only occurs in selected habitats, the sundew. The Pürgschachner Moor, only 100 meters away from our front door, offers exactly that unique habitat that this small rarity needs. As unique as our environment, as varied are the possibilities for excursions. Whether hiking, sightseeing, swimming, climbing or rafting, everything is easily accessible from our vacation apartment within a very short time. The 2018 renovated apartment offers enough space to come down and relax. From here you can ideally plan your next day trips. On request we will be happy to prepare a regional breakfast for you. Our homemade jams will bring the summer to your table.



Excursion destinations around Ardning

The sun has just set, the sky is bathed in a pastel red, the silhouettes rise up on the horizon like artistic silhouettes. Whether the royal peaks of the Hochtorkette, the high onion domes of the pilgrimage church Frauenberg or the gigantic back of Bosruck and Co. Here in Ardning it is time to pause, look and look forward to tomorrow.

There are many possibilities for excursions in the Gesäuse. Whether it's a full-day excursion, sports or sightseeing, everything is only a stone's throw away from our farm. The pilgrimage church Frauenberg with its Calvary or the Admont Monastery with its three large museums are absolutely worth seeing for culture lovers. On hot days you can visit the cool water of the natural baths in Admont as well as in Frauenberg. If you are looking for a challenge in action, we recommend an excursion to the Pürgschachner Moor, the Ardning Alm or one of the Gesäuse huts. Whether a leisurely walk in the mountain panorama of the Kaiserau or steeply uphill to the Ennstaler Hütte, the Gesäuse has something to offer for everyone.
