Quaint-rustic, very cozy and lovingly renovated farmhouse, located in a sunny position at the foot of the impressive backdrop of the Grimming, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountain world. The holiday home is situated in the popular holiday region of Steirisches Ennstal, in a quiet yet central location in the village of St. Martin am Grimming at an altitude of 716 m. The farmland has not been farmed since 2006. The house, with a total of 110 square meters of living space, features three bedrooms on the upper floor, accommodating 5 guests, accessible via a staircase. In the living room, there is the possibility to use a sofa bed for a sixth guest for an additional fee. All rooms on the upper floor have largely been kept original. On the ground floor, which can be reached by 3 steps, there is an entrance area with enough space for coats and shoes. The large, well-equipped kitchen, which is connected to the cozy living room over two steps without a door, is also located on the ground floor, along with the bathroom and the separate WC. In the entrance area to the bathroom, there is an infrared cabin available for free use. The outdoor area invites you to enjoy on the south side of the house, with a protected seating area in a covered porch, a garden swing, and stunning panoramic views of the peaks of the Schladminger Tauern. For e-bikes, there is a lockable garage with charging facilities. Additionally, there is a large area around the house for children to play, sledding in winter, or simply relaxing. At the small farm in the neighborhood, there is the opportunity to occasionally observe animals. A beekeeper with product sales is also located right next door.
Above all, the mighty Grimming watches over the north side of the house.

You can reach the village inn Mayer on foot in two minutes. A gas station with an e-charging station and a nearby grocery store for reasonably priced shopping and fresh baked goods in the morning is about 500 m from the house.

In the summer months, a heated outdoor pool with a slide operates about 300 m away.
The movement arena Mitterberg-St. Martin features a total of 14 different hiking, running, and Nordic walking trails. The total length of the marked trails is 70 km.
You can reach the stunning Salzawasserfall from the house on foot in about 30 minutes.
The Stoderzinken and the Friedenskircherl at Stoderzinken, which won the title of Austria's most beautiful spot in 2022, is about 18 km away and is almost a must for every guest.
Wonderful mountain biking routes, such as those around the Grimming, the Viehbergrunde, the Dachsteinrunde, or into the Sölktäler, can also be started directly from the house.
The Styrian Salzkammergut with Bad Aussee, Grundlsee, Altausseersee, Toplitzsee, and Kammersee can be reached by car in about 30 minutes.

In winter, you can reach the 4 mountains ski swing Haus-Planai-Hochwurzen-Reiteralm as well as the smaller ski resorts of Galsterberg, Planneralm, Rießneralm, and Tauplitz within about 15 to 30 minutes by car. There are also a variety of options for ski tourers in the Ennstal. For those interested in culture, a visit to the Admont Abbey with the world's largest and very impressive monastery library or Trautenfels Castle with its exhibitions is worthwhile.
