Veitsrodt is a local community in the district of Birkenfeld in Rhineland-Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Herrstein-Rhaunen and has two bus stops. While one can be found directly in the village, the bus stop Veitsrodt Markt is located just under one kilometer away from the village. The lines 346 and 351 stop in Veitsrodt. The final stops are Herrstein/Wickenrodt and Rhaunen/Frankfurt-Hahn Airport.

The vacation home is located at the entrance of Veitsrodt. It has been completely modernized and comfortably furnished in 2019. The house has room for 2-6 people.

Every 2nd weekend in July, it is held on the market grounds in Veitsrodt. Each year there is a wide variety of goods available at over 300 market stalls.
Autumn Market:
The "little brother of the premium market" is held every year on the 4th weekend in September. Here, too, there is the old familiar Krammarkt, as well as all kinds of highlights for horse and rider and many other great highlights.
Regional markets:
Always on the first Saturday in the months of March, April, May, June, August, September, October and November, regional markets are held in the market hall, where products from our region are sold.
