You can use the historic island railway which will take you the 7 km to the town centre. From there, either walk towards the beach, take a right and walk along the promenade to your accommodation. It's a walk of about 15 minutes.
You can check your luggage at the outer port in Emden or right from home. It will be brought directly to the accommodation so that you can make your first little beach walk to us without your luggage.
There are taxis at the port of Borkum that can be ordered in advance (tel. 04922-1001). There is also a bus connection you c an ask about at the AG Ems.
If you are coming to Borkum by car, you can drive right to your holiday accommodation at Café Sturmeck without an exceptional permit. The town centre (red zone) is closed to private cars in the high season. The blue zone has a night driving prohibition for cars without special permits from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
There is bike rental very near the holiday apartments.

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub in der FeWo Uitkieck =)
Zur Wohnung: Super Möbel und Ausstattung, aber noch etwas verbesserungswürdig
Uns hat der Teppich im Essraum gestört wegen der Badezimmertür
Sehr viele Fliegen kamen sofort durch die Fenster rein, täglich bis zu 20x, besser wäre da ein Moskitonetz anzubringen und zudem die Fenster fest zu stellen, da es mal sehr windig war beim lüften.
Das WLAN haben wir ausgiebig getestet, leider hat man in der oberen Etage überhaupt keinen Empfang, sobald man auf halber Höhe nach unten geht, hat man erst etwas Empfang, Empfehlung: Oben Repeater in Steckdose.
Es fehlte: Auflaufform, Eierpikser und paar andere Kleinigkeiten. Sand draußen vorher zu entfernen, Bürste oder Wasser... - Dach für Gepäckservice
