You can reach easily Casa della Robbia either if you arrive by plan as well by train/car. From the central station you can take underground line B- direction Laurentina – and get off at Piramide, which is the 4rd stop-time: 10 min! From Leonardo da Vinci – Fiumicino Airport – take the FR1 train and get off (8 stops, approx. 30 minutes) at Ostiense station. Once you're outside the station, you can either walk home if you're travelling light, alternatively, you can take the 719 bus and get off at the 3rd stop (Marmorata/Galvani).
From Ciampino Airport: there are a number of bus lines that go to Termini Station in Rome; once you've arrived at Termini you can take metro B direction Laurentina and in 10 min you arrive at home!

Die Casa della Robbia ist einfach perfekt! Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an wohl gefühlt. Das lag nicht zuletzt an der wunderbaren und liebenswürdigen Besitzerin Paola.! Wir bekamen sehr ausführliche Tipps und wertvolle Informationen, die für einen gelungenen Start in Rom mehr als hilfreich waren. Die Lage der Wohnung hat uns begeistert! Sehr zentral , die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß oder Bus/Bahn erreichbar, aber doch weit genug vom touristischen Trubel entfernt. Wir sind abends immer gerne in das ruhige Testaccio, mit seinen netten Bewohnern, zurückgekehrt um den Abend in einem der vielzähligen Restaurants ausklingen zu lassen. Wahrscheinlich werden wir Rom noch einmal besuchen, dann gerne wieder hier!

Dass wir bereits 3 Mal in dieser Wohnung gewohnt haben, sagt eigentlich schon alles. Für uns ist es der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für einen komfortablen und erholsamen Aufenthalt in Rom - sehr gut an den Nahverkehr angebunden, aber auch zu Fuß sind viele Orte gut zu erreichen. Genau so gut kann man aber auch einfach einen wunderschönen Tag in Testaccio verbringen, in der Markthalle einkaufen, in einer der vielen Bars sitzen, sehr gut essen und alternative Kulturangebote genießen. Die Wohnung und das ganze Haus sind ein angenehmer und ruhiger Rückzugsort, wir vermissen dort nichts und kommen ganz sicher wieder zurück.

Eine Woche verbrachten wir dort und es fühlte sich bald wie ein wirkliches Zuhause an. In das schöne Haus im recht untouristischen, aber lebendigen Viertel Testaccio kehrt man immer gerne zurück. Die Wohnung ist zum ruhigen Innenhof gelegen. Alles, was man besichtigen will, ist entweder zu Fuß oder mit einer der dort zahlreichen Bus- oder Straßenbahn-Linien zu erreichen. Einfach perfekt. Wir fühlten uns außerdem bestens betreut durch Paola und ihren Mann. Würden sofort wieder dort hingehen.

Die Wohnung ist perfekt, sehr sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet. Sie liegt zentral und dennoch sehr ruhig. Die Metrostation Pyramide ist fussläufig 5 min entfernt, Bushaltestellen 2 min. Supermarkt, Bäcker, Restaurants und Bars sind zahlreich direkt im Viertel vorhanden. Die Vermieterin Paolo ist hilfsbereit, sehr freundlich und unterstützt bei allen Fragen. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Rom und würden die Wohnung sofort wieder buchen.

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einem ruhigen, für Testaccio typischen Wohnhaus. Das Viertel hat ein breites und sehr gutes gastronomisches Angebot und ist gleichzeitig ein guter Ausgangspunkt für touristische Tagestouren und Abendspaziergänge. Der Aventin (mit Malteserschloss und dem Orangengarten) liegt "vor der Haustür", Trastevere und das historische Zentrum von Rom sind zu Fuß (oder mit dem Bus) gut erreichbar. Ebenfalls zu Fuß erreichbar ist Centrale Montemartini - hier begegnen sich Antike und technische Moderne in einem alten E-Werk, leider ein wenig unbeachtet, aber einfach toll.
Signora Marotta ist eine außerordentlich liebenswürdige Gastgeberin, wir waren jetzt drei Mal ihre Gäste und es wird sicher ein viertes Mal geben.

Der Empfang in der Wohnung war sehr freundlich und auch ohne italienische Sprachkenntnisse problemlos. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns in den schön eingerichteten Räumen sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung bietet an Ausstattung alles, was man für einen Städtetrip benötigt. Rund um die Wohnung sind in wenigen Minuten Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Restaurants, Eisdielen problemlos fußläufig erreichbar. Auch das Ausgehviertel Trastevere ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Aventinhügel (und das nicht mehr ganz so geheime aber trotzdem schöne "Schlüsselloch") ist ebenfalls in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Zur Metrostation Piramide dauert es zu Fuß zwischen 5 und 10 Minuten. Auch der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Frau Marotta war äußerst erfreulich - sie antwortete sehr freundlich und zügig!

Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in Testaccio, man wohnt typisch "römisch" in einem ruhigen Mietshaus. Sie ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht bzw. brauchen könnte. Testaccio bietet gastronomisch alles, was man sich nur wünschen kann, und ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Trastevere oder ins historische Zentrum von Rom. Frau Marotta ist die liebenswürdigste Gastgeberin, die wir kennengelernt haben, sie empfängt ihre Gäste, weist sie ein, gibt Tipps und ist in Notfällen immer ansprechbar.

We stayed in the appartement for two weeks. We found everything we needed to feel at home.
Good aircondition an quite for a calm sleep. The location is great for a stay in Rome. Short distance to the metrostation, so we could reach all attractions of Rome in a short time. Nearby we found a lot of nice restaurants.
The owner is very polite and helpfull.

Das Appartement ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Rom zu erkunden. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen Kurzurlaub braucht, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet!
Frau Marotta haben wir leider nicht persönlich kennengelernt - die Kommunikation vor und während des Aufenthalts war sehr gut. Man konnte merken, dass ihr viel daran liegt, dass ihre Gäste einen angenehmen Aufenthalt haben.
Ihr Freundin Yasmina hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns alles erklärt und stand ebenfalls für Fragen immer zur Verfügung.
Der Stadtteil Testaccio ist ursprünglich und nicht von Touristen überlaufen. Es gibt in direkter Nähe alles, was man zum Essen und Trinken benötigt!
Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und werden es (das Appartement) auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Die Wohnung war perfekt für unseren einwöchigen Sightseeing-Urlaub in Rom!
Sie liegt ideal, vom Flughafen Fiumicino kommt man sehr einfach hin und unsere Ziele konnten wir sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut erreichen. Rundherum ist man mit allem versorgt, was das Urlauberherz begehrt (Bäcker, Supermarkt, Eisdiele und ein sehr umfangreiches Restaurantangebot)... und zwar ruhig, abseits des Touristentrubels und doch mitten in Rom.
Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und war ein Rückzugsort, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben! Was auch an der netten, sehr hilfsbereiten Betreuung durch Paola lag, die uns mit reichlich Tipps versorgt hat und jederzeit ansprechbar war. Vielen Dank, wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen und haben sie schon weiter empfohlen.

Casa della Robbia war für eine Woche unser Zuhause in der quirligen und tollen Stadt Rom. Die Wohnung ist sauber, ruhig, hat eine Klimaanlage - was für ein Glück in diesem heißen Juli - und eine gut ausgestattete und sehr effizient eingerichtete Küche. Das alles wussten wir sehr zu schätzen, denn so konnten wir vor und nach unseren Touren Kraft tanken. Auch zu Dritt (mit unserem 12jährigen Sohn), hat das gut geklappt.
Paola haben wir leider nicht persönlich kennengelernt, weil sie während unseres Aufenthalts nicht in Rom war, dafür hat uns ihre freundliche und reizende "Vertretung" Leontina einen netten und informativen Empfang bereitet.
Ganz besonders haben wir die Atmosphäre auf dem Platz im Viertel genossen, saßen dort oft mit einem Eis...Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Meine Tochter und ich waren 5 Tage Gast in der Casa della Robbia. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben viele wichtige Informationen erhalten. Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sauber und ruhig zum Innenhof gelegen. Die Lage ist sehr verkehrsgünstig: Bus-/Tramlinien, Metro sowie eine tolle Anbindung zum Flughafen.
Die Markthalle ist nur 5 Min. entfernt; wir starten den Tag mit einem guten Frühstück bei Barbarini und los geht's.
Einen ganz besonderen Dank für einen sehr guten E-Mail-Kontakt an Paola. Sie hat jederzeit schnell und ausführlich geantwortet, das war sehr hilfreich.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. - Danke!

Diese Unterkunft ist top. Von der Ausstattung her: alles vorhanden; von der Lage her: ideal für Besichtigungen in der Innenstadt. Wir haben alles zu Fuß erreicht. Für weniger lauffreudige stehen Bus und U-Bahn in der Nähe zur Verfügung. Auch die Anbindung an den Flughafen FCO ist hervorragend. Nicht zu vergessen die Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit der Gastgeberin Paola. Gerne werden wir wiederkommen. Ein Hinweis noch: der Empfang eines deutsch- oder englisch-sprachigen Fernseh-Senders wäre nicht schlecht.

Das Appartement ist exakt so, wie es beschrieben ist und hat wirklich alles, was man für einen enstpannten Städtetrip braucht: es ist sehr sauber, perfekt ausgestattet, ruhig und liegt in einem angenehmen Wohnviertel mit einigen Geschäften, Lokalen und einer tollen Markthalle.
Ins schöne Trastevere läuft man eine Viertelstunde und auch alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Die Bushaltestelle liegt aber nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt und 1,50 für eine Fahrt ist wirklich unschlagbar. Paola ist eine sehr aufmerksame Vermieterin und kümmert sich sehr um das Wohl der Gäste , mille grazie ancora! Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir sind schon zum zweiten Mal Gäste von Paola gewesen - wie schon bei unserem letzten Besuch wurden wir herzlich empfangen und mit wirklich guten Tipps versorgt. So haben wir viel Neues entdecken können, dank Paolas Empfehlungen.
Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was gebraucht wird, außerdem ist sie gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Innenstadt und ans Meer. Völlig unproblematisch ist die Selbstversorgung: Bäcker, Gemüseladen, Minimarkt sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, auch zum Frischemarkt Testaccio ist es nicht weit. Wir haben es sehr genossen, für eine Woche mitten unter den Römern zu leben. Eine Unterkunft in einem Hotel kann das nicht bieten.

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage in Rom in einem schönen Appartement. Die Gegend hat kaum Tourismus aber dafür typisches italienisches Flair .Zur Versorgung ist alles in der Nähe und es Sonne Restaurants mit normalen Preisen vorhanden. - eine sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die usn eine umfassede Einführung und gute Tipps gegebn hat
- eine schöne, sehr gut eingerichtete und ausgestattete Wohnung, ruhig und schön
- ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt zu entdecken.
Wir hatten schöne Tage und hoffen, dass bei bei unserem nächsten Romaufenthalt Casa Robbia wieder frei ist.

Paola, die Gastgeberin, hat uns in Rom sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Sie hat uns in Testaccio die umliegenden Gegebenheiten gezeigt und hilfreiche Tipps gegeben, wo man einkaufen und gut essen kann. Anschließend hat sie uns in die wunderschöne Wohnung geführt, die perfekt ausgestattet und wunderhübsch ist. Die Wohnung liegt zum Innenhof und ist somit sehr ruhig für die relativ zentrale Lage in Rom. Deswegen kann die Stadt sehr gut zu Fuß erkundet werden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, werden die Wohnung weiter empfehlen und würden diese sofort wieder buchen.

We spent one week in Rome and enjoyed the clean and well equipped apartment in Testaccio. Well connected to transportation it was easy to reach the center of town as well as the beauiful and clean beach. Everything worked out easily and without any problems when it came to checking in and out and the communication with Paola's assistent. We can definitely recommend the apartment.

Supernette Vermieterin, Paola hat uns schon vor der Anreise mit vielen Info´s über Rom versorgt.
Sehr feine geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, mit allen Dingen die man braucht.
Die Lage ist top, ideal als Ausgangspunkt für kurze oder ausgedehnte Stadtspaziergänge, Bus und Bahnhaltestellen zur Erkundung weiter entfernt liegender Sehenswürdigkeiten (z.B. Petersdom) sind in der Nähe.
Testaccio ist ein noch ruhiges Viertel ohne Massentourismus mit schönen Lokalen (römische Küche) und vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeien z.B Markthalle, Bioladen, mehrere Bäckereien u.a. (unübertroffen Eataly = Feinkosttempel auf 4 Eatgen ca. 20-30 min Fussweg)
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank an Paola und herzliche Grüße aus Berlin

Paola und Massimo sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und haben für einen reibungslosen Ablauf und Aufenthalt gesorgt. (Vielen Dank nochmals!)
Die Wohnung mit Fester zum Innenhof ist ruhig gelegen, sonnig, mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und ein super Ausgangspunkt um Rom - auch zu Fuß- zu erkunden.

Paola war schon ab dem ersten E-Mail-Kontakt eine tolle Gastgeberin und hat uns mit vielen hilfreichen Infos versorgt. Die Wohnung ist supersauber und top ausgestattet. Für ein typisches italienisches Frühstück war alles vorhanden. Überhaupt fühlt man sich wie echte Römer, da Testaccio ein nettes Wohnviertel ist mit kleinen Geschäften und vielen guten Lokalen in der Nähe. Die U-Bahn Station Piramide ist nicht weit weg. Die Bocca della Verità in Fußnähe und zum Petersdom kommt man gut mit dem Bus. NIcht versäumen: die Pasticceria Barberini - einmal um die Ecke! Also kurz: Paola ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und die Wohnung perfekt für einen Romaufenthalt. Absolute Empfehlung!

We´ve had a wonderful stay in rome and casa della robbia was one big part of the reason !!!
Everything was perfekt !!! The warm welcome from Paola and her friend with many helpful insider tips, gave us a good start into bella roma. The flat was very clean ,everything what you need was there, a complete kitchen and even a welcome bottle chianti! ,milk , coffee, cookies...
The flat is a 2 min. walk to a bus station and 10 min. to a metro station.
Our next journey to rome : A must stay in casa della robbia !!!

Wir hatten eine sehr angenehme Woche in Casa della Robbia. Paola hat uns herzlich empfangen und eine Menge Tipps für Unternehmungen und Kulinarisches in der Umgebung gegeben.
Unser Geheimtipp für Mitteleuropäer die etwas früher als die Römer essen gehen wollen: Aperitivo im Palombi 200 m entfernt in der selben Straße in nördlicher Richtung. Antipasti und Pasta und Nachtisch und ein Glas Wein oder Bier für 10! Euro pro Person. Wir waren gleich 2 mal dort. Wer eine sagenhafte Pizza bevorzugt: Nuovo Mundo auch nicht weit entfernt. Urig Römisch-Italienisch. Die Wohnung liegt auch für alle Ausflüge in Rom mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr günstig. Am Abend ein Spaziergang zum Sonnenuntergang auf den Aventino- Hügel...ein Traum. Grazie Mille, Paola per tutto! Tommi und Antje

It was really beautiful. Thank you, Paola. Linda and I were very very happy in your beautiful appartment which is so well equiped. You have everything. Dishwasher, washing maschine, free coffee and so much more. It was a great home which gave us a lot of freedom. We cooked, we relaxed and we were always happy to come home after a long day. And we love (!) Testaccio. Not touristy but full of life with great atmosphere and no stress. The restaurants and bars you recommended us were so good and so much fun. and the market, the butcher, the bakery and the shops nearby made it so easy to have great food at home. Everybody who chooses your place to stay in Rome is lucky.

Eine neu renovierte und schöne eingerichtete Wohnung in einem tollen Altbau. Bestens und detailreich ausgestattet, beginnend mit hochwertigen, sehr guten Betten, über eine gut sortierte Küchenausstattung, bis zu den kleinen Details wie umfangreiche touristen-relevante Infos zur ewigen Stadt oder eine Notapotheke (die wir glücklicherweise nicht benötigten). Das Haus liegt zentrumsnah im lebhaften alten Arbeiterviertel Testaccio und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Paola ist sehr hilfsbereit, wenn immer möglich flexibel und in jeglicher Hinsicht kundenorientiert. Your home in Rome ... I believe there is no better way to describe this lovely apartment .. It is located on the third floor (with elevator !!!!) of a building in the popular neighborhood of Testaccio. It has any comfort (kitchen, oven, washing machine, toaster, microwave, etc) a person could want. In addition to a comfortable double bed, the apartment has a sofa bed which allows the stay in more than two people. Important to emphasize is the excellent geographical location of the apartment and its proximity to any area of interest of Rome, that can be reached by foot. Paola, the hostess, is an extremely kind person, careful to every need and request. I would recommend this fantastic place to anyone looking for a holiday in Rome!

Casa della Robbia was most definitely our home away from home! It is centrally located in the Testaccio neighborhood, and we found it very easy to get to the Roman Forum/Colosseum, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon. The double paned glass made the apartment surprisingly and wonderfully quiet. Paola is VERY helpful, and her response times are quick. If you're looking to fall in love with Rome, stay here!

A very cheerfully and carefully arranged apartment, recently renovated and in best layer to do Rome by foot. Nevertheless quiet at night.

Everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival with a warm personal welcome. Also we have received very detailed and helpful information/tips about e.g. the shops, restaurants, markets, sightseeing, bus/metro connections in a binder.
It was nice to have the opportunity to
buy e.g.some bred, cheese, salame, prosciutto and wine/ prosecco, in the different shops, which are close by and have a dinner in the appartment. From the recommend restaurants we have tried "Tutti i Frutti" - excellent food quality and very friendly service, also the "Bucarino" a very good Trattoria, with the best artichoke dish we ever had and you should try the puntarella salad with anchovis.
