It is the starting point of the annual Skûtsjesilen and the unique location on the Pikmeer and the protected nature reserve De Alde Feanen makes it a very popular water sports destination. The well-known 8 van Grou ferry cycling route also starts here. A route map is available for you at the tourist office in the center. You will cycle across the water with no fewer than 8 different ferries. A unique experience of Friesland.
