The Beach house is a relaxed family home available for rental with 3 bedrooms (2 double beds and 2 single beds). The location is directly on fantastic Denneville Beach, which has golden sands and is uncrowded even in summer. The house faces the beach with uninterrupted panoramic views of the sea and the island of Jersey from the house/ There is central heating and a double glazed conservatory so the house is warm all year. The beach has a gentle slope and is safe for children. You can also bring your dog (please ask first)

From Caen take the N13 to Cherbourg, turn off for Barneville Carteret just after Carentan (D971) then right towards La Haye Du Puits (D903). Stay on the D903 until you see a left for Denneville (D137) then go through Denneville-bourg and cross the mai road towards Denneville-Plage. Turn left when you get to the beach, our house is 300m on the right hand side, just after the oysster farmer (very good Oysters, you can buy them directly on a Sunday!)

Das Ferienhaus bietet die besten Voraussetzungen für einen unkomplizierten Urlaub (auch mit Hund). Die Lage ist perfekt direkt am breiten Strand von Denneville. In der Nebensaison waren die meisten Restaurants schon geschlossen aber die Küche im Haus ist groß und vollständig ausgestattet. Ein Supermarkt befindet sich im Nachbarort Portbail und auf dem Weg gibt es einen Bäcker. Die Betten sind sehr bequem genauso wie die Sofas und Sessel im Wohnzimmer. Die Heizung funktioniert übrigens einwandfrei was an kühleren Tagen wichtig ist. Gegessen haben wir im Wintergarten mit traumhaftem Ausblick. Die Vermieterin ist nett und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Schon bei der Ankunft - ein erster Blick aus dem verglasten Balkonvorbau - waren wir überwältigt! Strand und Meer im 180Grad Panoramablick. Einfach wunderschön. Und bei Ebbe eine riesengroße Sandfläche, kaum frequentiert. Wir konnten mit den Hunden toll am Strand entlang laufen.
Auch innen hat das Haus für uns alles geboten, was wir im Urlaub brauchen. Die Küche ist mit allen Notwendigkeiten ausgestattet, das Sofa im Wohnzimmer war wohl neu und sehr gemütlich. Alle Betten hatten gute Matrazen und waren bequem. Wir waren mit 4 Personen und 2 Hunden dort - und ALLE haben sich wirklich wohlgefühlt. Das Wetter war nicht so gut, da kam die tolle Veranda besonders zum "Einsatz". Leider war die 1 Woche viel zu schnell vorbei ....wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Lage ist traumhaft, der ursprüngliche Garten ist ein Traum da sehr geschützt. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, eine gemütliche Couch wäre schön gewesen, war aber nicht weiter dramatisch. Wir können die Bewertung vor uns nicht verstehen, die Innentreppe ist wirklich sehr steil aber die Außentreppe ist gut begehbar und wem der Aufgang zum Strand zu steil ist, kann gemütlich zwei Häuser weiter den Weg zum Strand benutzen. Die Geräte die wir gebraucht haben (Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Herd, Backofen, Kühlschrank, Fernseher, I-Net etc.) haben alle tadellos funktioniert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder. Wir waren mit unseren Hunden dort und haben dort wirklich traumhafte Tage verbracht.
