The Felsentherme thermal spa Bad Gastein, as well as the station are both only 2 kilometres away. The Graukogelbahn is reachable after a 15-minute foot march. Experience Gastein’s flair strolling along Kaiser-Wilhelm-Promenade that leads right past our house. You reach Gastein’s radon gallery after 10 minutes by bus (free transfer).

A house with character and history – at the Villa Excelsior guesthouse that was built in 1895, you are accommodated in a historical setting with a special flair thanks to the high ceilings. The rooms that to a large extent still come with original Promoterism furniture, offer all the comforts you could long for. Most of our double and single rooms come with a balcony or a romantic loggia, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Gastein’s mountains. Leave everyday stress behind and relax beside our own pool. Culinary delights can be experienced in our restaurant, where we prepare exquisite dinner menus. During the day, the nostalgic salon serves as a lounge. The individual support of our guests is of particular importance to us.

Experience the soothing effect of Gastein’s thermal waters in our six thermal water tubs. Other spa & wellness offers of the house comprise our Finnish sauna with roof terrace, an infrared cabin as well as individual massage treatments on-site.
