The outdoor swimming area is surrounded by a lush natural scenery, from tall pine trees and windmill palm trees to roses and acacias. After a nice swim in the private pool, you can unwind on the sunbeds beneath the canopy of vines and enjoy your holiday while sipping on a cool drink. Just above the pool area, and separated by a security gate, lies a higher level where you can either relax in the outdoor sitting area beneath the trees or, further up, at the top of a few steps on the wood-decked terrace, fitted with stylish furniture and a charming cocoon chair. Adjacent to the villa, lies a wood-themed shaded outdoor dining space for 8 with beautiful woven chairs, complemented by lovely bamboo trees. The canopy of interwoven vines allows just enough natural sunlight for you to properly enjoy a delightful meal grilled on the barbecue.
From the outdoor dining area, you have direct access to the ground floor of the house, a fully air-conditioned house that mixes the modern with the stylish. A large open floorplan encompasses a well-equipped kitchen with a central island and modern appliances to try your hand with Mediterranean cuisine, a dining area for 8, and a couple of steps down, a well-lit and elegant living room with its own fireplace overlooking the garden. The wide sliding glass doors allow for immediate access to the wood-decked terrace and the great view of the garden. Down the corridor, an air-conditioned TV room awaits you with large enough sofas for friends and family and a utility room where you will find a freezer and all the equipment for laundry and cleaning. Also, on this level, you will find the master bedroom with a large comfortable bed of 200×200 cm and its en-suite shower. The room has direct access to the terrace. Up the open staircase, the upper level is comprised of 3 luminous double bedrooms (160×200 cm beds) and one large family bathroom with a walk-in shower, a bathtub, double sinks, and a toilet.
This spacious and sunny house with a pool is just a 10-minutes drive from Montpellier’s medieval city centre, L’Écusson, and a 20-minute drive from the beaches. The house benefits from being very close to the most exclusive tennis club in Montpellier with spa and gym facilities; Club 7. Local shops, including a newsagent, a bakery, a pharmacy, a grocery store and a great deli are just a 5-minute walk down the hill. Montpellier airport is located 15 minutes (drive) from the house.
Montpellier and the region around offer fantastic tourist attractions, from music, dance and theatre festivals, to the Mediterranean sea, to the many small vineyards and appellations.
