We, the Scholtes winemaking family, live and work around, in, and on our holiday winery.

We cultivate Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir grapes on about 5 hectares of vineyard area.

Bicycles can be stored in a locked garage.

The long tradition of the wine village of Leiwen undoubtedly dates back to the Romans, who gave the place its name and left wine as a legacy. The first documented mention of the village was in 633 AD.

In today's Leiwen, tradition and progress have created a pleasant synthesis; old, romantic facades and modern, charming houses shape the distinctive townscape. The beauty is evidenced by multiple awards in many village competitions and recognition as a "state-recognized resort".
