It between 5 to 10 minutes it is possible to reach supermarkets (Norma and Penny), a butcher, a doctor (for an emergency), a pharmacy, an outdoor-swimming pool, a tourist-information, the “Maar-Museum” and the “Eifelsteig” (which is a hiking-tour).
From the Autobahn (A1/A48) between Koblenz and Trier you need approximately 5 km to reach Manderscheid.
