A Gem from a bygone era
“This is a dream here!” This is the first reaction of the Almliesl guests when they arrive at the spacious property of the charming little farmhouse. Nestled on the sunny slope, surrounded by fields and ancient apple trees, it feels like it's from another time.



Thick walls that keep it cool in the summer and ensure warmth stays inside during winter.

Nearly black, sun-weathered wood gives the house its region-specific character.

The generous terrace from the upper floor invites you to enjoy a romantic nightcap and is also accessible from outside.

The View and the Panorama over Lake Zell to Kitzsteinhorn is priceless

A short beaten path leads to the adjacent stable, which was used for dairy farming in earlier times. Today, you can store bikes or your skis in it. The rooms of the house have been extensively renovated and modernized.
The country house style has been retained, and it lacks for no amenities. Old wooden floorboards, the creaky staircase, and the precious tiled stove are witnesses of time and remain preserved.

In Summer a wide range of leisure activities is possible

Hiking and mountain biking tours start right at the doorstep and Lake Zell, about 1.5 km away, is optimally accessible by bike. You can also rent a bike in the town center of Maishofen for your vacation. In the alpine town Zell am See awaits a historical city center with boutiques, restaurants, cafés, and bars waiting to be discovered by you.

Winter Fun for the whole family

When the peaks and valleys of the ski and sports region are covered by a thick blanket of snow, a winter paradise for the kids has emerged around the farmhouse. The fields are perfect for sledding or for the first turns on skis, as well as building igloos and snowmen. At the edge of the village, there is also a free children's lift and sleds available to rent. When the lake freezes over, there’s no stopping for ice kings and princesses.

Tip: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the indoor pool with an attached ice rink in Zell am See or the Tauern SPA in Kaprun are great alternatives.
