Description
The location is very quiet and has a rustic charm that is still rare to find. The house has been restored to modern standards and has a parking space for your car and the garden is next door, directly below a large slate rock. On the ground floor, in addition to the hallway, there is a well-equipped kitchen, a small living room and a WC with washer-dryer.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a new bathroom with shower. The bedrooms are each equipped with double beds and offer enough space for 4 people. If required, there is also a comfortable sleeping area on the pull-out sofa in the living room. The living room and bedrooms are equipped with modern TV sets.
The holiday home Therese is located at Schlossstraße 17 in Thalveldenz. This Thal is a district of Veldenz, a side valley of the Middle Moselle, not far from Bernkastel-Kues (approx. 10 km). The old Veldenz Castle from the 12th century, once the ancestral seat of the Counts of Veldenz, is situated on a rock above the village. Veldenz is not located directly on the water, but about 2 km inland directly under the first Hunsrück forests and surrounded by beautiful vineyards. An ideal starting point for hikers. Mühlheim on the Moselle is only a few minutes' drive away, with connections to the shipping traffic and the start of numerous cycle paths. The detached holiday home was once an old Moselle cottage made of slate and served as accommodation for the old castle servants, like almost all the small houses in this street.
