Description
Our holiday apartment is located at the beginning of the mountaineering village "St. Jodok", at the right hand side. You need to take turn at Stafflach and follow the signs for "Mountaineering village St. Jodok, Schmirn and Valsertal". It is only one kilometer from the main road Brenner-Innsbruck, so it is perfect as a central spot for your holidays in Tirol, for activities in the mountains (hiking, biking, via ferrata, skiing, ski touring or snowshoe hiking) or cultural sightseeing in the cities of Innsbruck and Sterzing (30 km). There is a hourly train connection between the cities and a train station at St. Jodok (only 5 min walk from the house). Overnight stop-over guests are welcome too, of course. There is a butcher, a grocery store, an inn, a bank, a textile shop, a soccer field (ice rink in winter) and a public playing ground within the village of St. Jodok. The skiing area Bergeralm as well as the ski touring mountain Sattelberg are only 5 minutes by car.
