Loft Mercado takes its name out of the beautiful and close traditional market of Ortigia. The living area is downstair and the bedrooms on the open space mezzanine. The ceilings come with wood beams all around the apartment, as well as the wood flooring. Together they give to the flat a welcoming atmosphere. The two queen-size beds are at the opposite sides of the mezzanine and they are separated by the bathroom, that comes with a shower. The second bathroom with shower, is downstairs. Our guests will surely notice how every detail is well-finished: the bedrooms design combines with the pastel colours of the living room, fitted with a double sofa bed and a TV, and the modern kitchen fully equipped with amenities, including an oven and a dish washer. Finally, the location of the house is the perfect choice for moving around the beautiful city of Siracusa, as well as living next the beach and the Seafront Vittorini.

Leaving the ancient Greek city and going toward the south, the best equipped beaches worth of a visit are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name is due to the natural sweet spring water and to the unique white sand. Then, In the island of Ortigia there are some equipped solarium (Zefiro and Nettuno), as well as the free beach of Cala Rossa. Going further south, about 30 kms far away from Siracusa, there are amazing and wild beaches: Calamosche, Vendicari with its Wildlife Park and the precious San Lorenzo. For those looking for cultural and historical sites, it is recommended to visit Teatro Greco and its archeological site with the famous Orecchio di Dionisio (a limestone cave shaped as a human ear), the Museum Paolo Orsi, then the Latomie dei Cappuccini, and finally the island of Ortigia with its natural and historic eye-catching landscapes. Finally, our guests should visit the town of Noto, the seafront of Tonnara di Avola and the fisherman village of Marzamemi.
