Our gîte is in a 16th-century farm outhouse. In restoring this corn loft, we have taken special care to the features of the Alsatian house, e.g. by preserving the beauty of the original building, choosing appropriate colours, applying a limewash finish and using traditional and quality materials.
We have put heart and soul into maintaining the character of the place. And to this authentic touch we have endeavoured to add a high level of comfort.
We have the advantage of being ideally situated in the peaceful village of Epfig, 35 km from Colmar and Strasbourg, in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards and at the foot of the Vosges mountains.
Should you be interested, we shall gladly reveal some of the secrets of our area to you.

Ein sonniger Urlaub, trotz Regenwetter
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem nötigen ausgestattet und dem Alter des Gebäudes entsprechend passend und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Ort liegt für Ausflüge in die Städte wie Dörfer ideal eingebettet. So dass mit nur relativ kurzen Autofahrten und trotz Regenwetters viele Ausflüge möglich waren.
Wunderschöne Wohnung
Sehr nette Vermieter, tolle Lage um das Elsaß in allen Richtungen zu erkunden. Absolut empfehlenswert!
Traumhafter Kurzurlaub
Wir haben einen traumhaften Kurzurlaub in der schönen und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Ausstattung ist bestens und die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ferienwohnung ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die wunderbare Umgebung.

The Les Petits Tisserands gites have been imaginatively converted from an old farm building, combining contemporary reclaimed materials with modern furnishings and fittings.. The family Kleine have worked hard to create very comfortable accommodation, ideal for touring within this interesting area of the Alsace. The owners were welcoming and keen to promote the area, making suggestions for visits and tour itineraries. Try Yves Amberg's Cremant from one of the local vineyards!

Eine sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit vielen liebevollen Details! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dazu kommt, dass die Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit sind. Dieses Quartier ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.
Wonderful time
Les Petits Tisserands is a wonderful place to stay when visiting glorious Alsace. A picturesque homestead located in a workaday French village, it surrounded by fairy-tale towns, vineyards, and orchards. Our hosts Xavier and Kati Klein were generous, helpful, and outgoing. Xavier's English is fluent. Kati is working to improve her's, which is serviceable because augmented with a warm personality. We stayed at the three-bedroom apartment, which is very comfortable and well-appointed, with a somewhat rustic look. It accommodated six people comfortably, and we stayed more than three weeks, often preparing meals with food from nearby outdoor markets and excellent supermarkets, without ever feeling limited. Most important are Xavier and Kati themselves. They seem genuinely delighted to meet new friends and to provide information and advice about all facets of Alsace, from interesting places to visit and shop to the best restaurants and vineyards.

Hemos pasado 15 días maravillosos en esta casa. Lo tiene todo, encanto, buen gusto pero sobre todo sus propietarios que son SUPERGUAY o como lo dicen os franceses SUPERBE. La recomendamos a todos ya que desde ella se puede recorrer Alsacia de arriba a abajo y además cruzar a Alemania, Suiza... Merece la pena, probar también la tarta flambe y como no los vinos de la Alsacia. Gracias por todo a la familia Klein, os hechamos de menos.
Eine wunderschöne Woche
Wir haben eine sehr erholsame Ferienwoche bei Familie Klein verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung ist so liebevoll und perfekt renoviert. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Familie Klein war auch ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Und die Umgebung mit den Weinbergen, hübschen Dörfern und den tollen Fachwerkhäusern war wirklich beeindruckend. Unsere Kinder fühlten sich sehr wohl und planen schon unseren nächsten Aufenthalt.
Sicher nicht zum letzten Mal...
Man spürt, dass diese Scheune mit viel Liebe restauriert und ausgestattet wurde. Resultat ist eine Ferienwohnung mit Herz, in der es an nichts mangelt. Dazu bietet die zentrale Lage in der meiner Meinung nach schönsten Ecke des Elsaß einen idealen Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und andere Exkursionen... Dann noch Vermieter, die immer mit Rat und Tat zur Hand sind. Viel mehr kann man nicht erwarten...

Es hat alles gepasst: Der charme des Hauses, geschmackvoll renoviert, mit den vielen schönen Farben und mit dieser herrlich gesunden Raumatmosphäre - endlich wieder ein Haus, das richtig atmet!-; die feine liebe Betreuung der Familie Klein mit ihren vielen guten Tipps; die perfekte Lage, um Elsass und Vogesen zu erkunden. Wonderful stay in Alsace !
Our stay in Epfig was wonderful. The accommodation was clean and provided all we needed.. The owners were very friendly and helpful regarding touring in the surrounding area.. The village of Epfig was conveniently located to the vinyards and local sights, whilst being off the main tourist beat, which was refreshing. Wonderful walks and wine tasting were on offer - we will remember our time there with fondness. :-)
A Gingerbread Christmas !
It was like living in a Christmas card when a group of six of us spent a week in the Alsace to enjoy the Christmas Markets. The high light of our trip was our charming half timbered, home away from home, Gíte Les Petits Tisserands. We had visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads as we slept comfortably in the peaceful rural surroundings of this attractively renovated farm house. We were toasty and warm as we gathered morning or evening in the spacious first floor living room/dining room/kitchen area, for our fresh croissant and butter or evening glass of wine. Our agreeable hosts, Kathy and Xavier Kline were a delightful young couple, who invited us for a glass of Gewürztraminer and shared their photo albums and stories of their farm house renovation. Kathy´s special touches in the Gíte made for a cozy and welcoming stay. Xavier gave us excellent advice on travel and dining. We all had a wonderful time and agree we would go back to Gíte Les Petits Tisserands again!

Right from the very beginning of our stay, we were warmly welcomed and enchanted. The house was beautiful and the walks in the region were spectacular. We would definitely recommend a holiday in Alsace. The hospitality was unmatched in the whole of our trip to France.
Zeer gezellige en goede gite
De Kerstweek hebben wij doorgebracht in ´Les Petits Tisserands´. Monsieur Klein heeft ons ontvangen met wijn en Bredele (kerstkoekjes). Zeer hartelijke mensen met leuke verhalen. Een geweldig leuke gite, alles is aanwezig. Ook voor kleine kinderen hebben ze een stoel en bedje. Het is heel warm en gezellig ingericht. Je voelt je er echt thuis. Heerlijke douche en de kindertjes hebben genoten van het bad. Echt een aanrader! Mooie omgeving, zeer veel te doen voor alle leeftijden.
Casa con encanto
Hemos pasado una semana inolvidable visitando la zona y disfrutando de esta casa y de la amabilidad de sus propietarios. Es una casa acogedora, muy bien situada para recorrer toda la ruta de los vinos y no le falta ningún detalle. Todo esto unido al buen recibimiento que tuvimos por parte de los dueños, ha conseguido que hayamos disfrutado de unas vacaciones con niños que no olvidaremos jamás.
Gîte superbe
Gîte superbe après un travail gigantesque, accueil excellent (le gâteau était très bon). Nous ne pouvons faire que des compliments à Mr et Mme KLEIN, sans oublier les enfants bien sûr. Ce séjour a été parfait mais trop court pour connaître toute cette belle région. Nous pourrons peut être revenir avec joie. Et encore merci pour nos motos qui ont bien apprécié d´être à l´abri durant ce séjour. Nous ne pouvons que conseiller ce gîte à tout le monde. Bravo !
Souvenir d'un agréable séjour alsacien
