Cozy vacation apartment in Großkirchen in Mölltal with a view of the Gartl waterfall and the wonderful mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Equipped is the rustic dwelling in the basement with two bedrooms for up to 4 people, a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living and dining area and in the Obergeschodd with another bedroom with two single beds and the possibility of an extra bed and a bathroom with shower. All rooms in the basement have been recently renovated with a lot of love. On request it is also possible to rent only the basement for up to 4 people for a discounted price.

Coming from the south from Lienz, you drive over the pass Iselsberg to Winklern and from there straight into the Mölltal towards Heiligenblut. Coming from the north, you can reach Großkirchheim only during the opening hours of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.

Wir haben die Woche im Mölltal sehr genossen, alles liegt quasi vor der Haustür: kurze und lange Wanderungen, bergige und (fast) flache Radtouren, Schwimmen im Naturbad, Restaurants, Cafes und ein Supermarkt Und dazu die tolle Ferienwohnung, die sehr großzügig geschnitten und mit moderner Küche und Bad perfekt ausgestattet ist. Und der große Balkon mit Blick auf die Berge und den namensgebenden Wasserfall. Einfach perfekt - gerne wieder!

Im golden Herbst haben wir ein paar wunderschöne Tage im Mölltal und am Großglockner verbracht.
Die Ferienwohnung liegt ruhig gelegen am Rand von Grosskirchheim und ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Ski und Rad.
Die Ferienwohnung lässt wenig zu wünschen übrig mit augenscheinlich neu eingerichteter Küche, Bad und Schlafzimmer. Der Wohn- und Aufenthaltsbereich mit Kacheloffen ist schön gemütlich und hat eine unschlagbare Aussicht auf die Berge und Wälder.
Im Obergeschoss der Wohnung befindet sich ein weiterer großzügiger Schlafbereich.
Kurz um, jeder Zeit wieder

Zunächst zur Umgebung: verblüffend, wie sehr sich die umliegenden Gebirgsgruppen (Schobergruppe, Goldberggruppe und Gailtaler Alpen) voneinander unterscheiden und wie schnell man damit in völlig anderen Hochgebirgswelten ist. Bei weitem nicht so überlaufen wie manche andere Gegend in den Alpen. Janets Ferienwohnung war für uns perfekt. Die Kommunkation war völlig unkompliziert und herzlich, das Haus praktisch, stilvoll aber unaufdringlich eingerichtet. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt (5 Erwachsene zwischen 39 und 69, eine 12-jährige und eine 1-jährige). Die Raumaufteilung ist wirklich super. - Für uns wird es in den kommenden Jahren ganz sicher einen Schobergruppe - Teil II geben und dann gibt es auch keinen Zweifel darüber, bei wem wir uns als erstes bzgl der Unterkunft melden.

Unsere ganze Familie war von der Ferienwohnung begeistert, ganz urig und super zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Eine Waschmaschine und Bettbezüge und Badetücher würden die Wohnung perfekt machen. Janet kommuniziert fantastisch und sehr geduldig. Wir kommen sicher wieder, danke.

Wir waren als Familie mit unseren Töchtern (16 und 20 Jahre) dort. Der tolle Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer auf den Gartl-Wasserfall ist einzigartig und unsere Wanderung dorthin hat sogar unseren Mädels super gefallen. Der tolle große Kachelofen im Wohnbereich spendete abends wohlige Wärme. Die Betten waren super bequem und wir fühlten uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl. Wir würden gern wiederkommen.
