04) Tourist tax.
The municipality of Göhren-Lebbin charges a tourist tax throughout the year. The landlords are obligated to collect it from tenants. Arrival and departure days each count as one day. You'll receive your tourist passes ("Kurkarte") after we receive the final payment from you (an amount that includes the "tourist tax").
05) Payment.
25% of the overall rental fee is payable as a deposit immediately on receiving confirmation of your booking from the landlord. The rest of the rental fee is due at least a month prior to the start of the rental period (receipt of payment).
If a booking is cancelled, 25% of the rental price is payable up to 70 days before the rental begins, 50% of the rental price is payable up to 40 days before the rental begins, and 80% of the rental price is payable up to 20 days before the rental begins. The full rental price is payable for subsequent cancellations made at a later date. A (partial) deduction is possible for later bookings. If you cancel your booking and the property can be rented out to new tenants for the time period in question (either in part or in full), the cancellation fees will be reduced appropriately.
06) Arrival/departure.
Arrivals are possible from 4pm. The holiday house must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Other arrival/departure times need to be expressly agreed upon in advance.
08) Damages.
Should damages occur during or as a result of the rental period, the landlord (see above) should be informed immediately. The tenant must rectify the damages at their own cost. No deposit is taken.
