Located in a tranquil location in Laroque, this holiday home is particularly appreciated by lovers of nature, calmness, and fond of gardens. This lower house at the foot of the Cevennes has been decorated with care and exudes warmth and immediate well-being. Ideal for a couple on a romantic vacation, the holiday home has a private swimming pool where you can enjoy refreshing dips. Laroque is a fortified medieval village built on a rocky outcrop at the end of the Hérault Gorges. It is a strategic site, opening the gateway from the Languedoc plain to the Cévennes, and from the top of its keep-tower (27 m), it offers a complete circular view of the entire hinterland. The village also has a variety of shops and restaurants, a medical centre, pharmacies and even a clinic. The medieval village is a 5-minute drive away, situated on the banks of the River Hérault, where you will also find numerous restaurants overlooking the river and supplies, shops, supermarkets, as well as a typical Cévennes market on Friday mornings. You can also take a canoe trip down the Hérault. Additionally, this place is perfect for exploring the surrounding area on foot. In warm weather you will find your place on the covered terrace with barbecue and plancha, best for an evening date with your better half. Unless you prefer relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the extraordinary garden with its lush vegetation of varied species, its pond and the breathtaking view. Note: The swimming pool is not available during the low season and will be available starting from 15 April.

Wir wurden herzlich von Fred begrüßt, der ausgezeichnetes Englisch sprach. Nach einer kurzen Führung durch das Haus und den großen Garten unterhielten wir uns bei einem erfrischenden Getränk. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass Fred sich gegen 8:00 Uhr um den Pool kümmern würde und dass der Pool, der Whirlpool und der Grillplatz im Garten unser privater Bereich sein würden. Wir konnten uns immer auf eine schnelle Antwort von Fred per WhatsApp verlassen, und er organisierte gerne etwas für uns.
Es gab keine Klimaanlage, aber dank der dicken Wände, der hölzernen Fensterläden und der vielen Bäume war die Temperatur im Haus angenehm, und wir schliefen gut.

Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und verfügt über eine schöne Küche. Einfach, aber gut. Der riesige Garten mit privaten Plätzen für Gäste ist ein wahres Abenteuer. Überall gibt es etwas zu sehen und zu erleben. Die Veranda und der Garten sind eine Perle. Ein Paradies für Kochbegeisterte. Ein Grill und eine Plancha. Esstisch mit schönen Stühlen und einem Lounge-Set. Sie möchten nicht Ihren gesamten Urlaub hier verbringen, außer für einen kurzen Abstecher zum riesigen Super U in Ganges, um Ihre frischen Sachen zu holen. Lecker!
Die Lage ist fantastisch für Naturliebhaber, Wir machten lange Spaziergänge und fanden sogar einen lokalen Markt im nahegelegenen Dorf, Das Haus selbst war komfortabel und hatte eine großartige Atmosphäre,

Wunderschönes Haus mit sehr netten und respektvollen Besitzern und einem besonderen Hund. Ich liebte den Garten und aß auf der Terrasse und genoss die Sonne und die Aussicht.
