Lovely apartment located on the ground floor of a renovated historical building that overlooks Giardino Garibaldi in Piazza Marina.
In this cosy apartment, white colour is king, from the wonderful barrel vaulted ceilings to the wooden plank flooring. Then, home decor comes in contrasting shades that add a touch of colour.
From the outside, guests will have direct access to the living area furnished with a double sofa bed, a workstation and a dining area with TV. This large space also houses an open-plan kitchen, well-equipped and fitted with a microwave and a coffee machine, in addition to a breakfast table with stools.
The bedroom comes with a queen sized bed and has an intimate atmosphere where walls recall the style of exposed tuff, original element of the flat, and are enriched by recesses where it is possible to store little personal belongings. Finally, at guests’ disposal there is a comfortable bathroom with shower and much attention to detail.
Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating pump complete the property.

The location is ideal for a holiday in the old town of Palermo. As a matter of fact, the apartment is situated next to the Cala, the tourist harbour of the city, where guests can enjoy a nice walk during the day but also a lively nightlife. A few steps away from Piazza Marina and Giardino Basile there are Palazzo Abatellis, Palazzo Mirto and Palazzo Chiaramonte Steri, as well as the Puppet Theatre, traditional expression of the local art, and Via Maqueda, which together with Via Ruggero VII and Via della Libertà, is the main commercial area for more than a century now. With less than a 10-minutes walk guests can reach Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Vucciria market and the Cathedral.
The central train station is just 1 km away and is the end of line of both trains and buses from/to the airport. From there, there are also buses going to wonderful places such as Mondello and Monreale!

We had a delightful stay at Piazza Marina Suite. We were met at the apartment by Massimo who showed us everything we needed to know including recommendations on restaurants. The apartment is roomy and comfortable overlooking a beautiful park. It is also easy walking distance to all the things we wanted to see or do in the historic center of Palermo. We had one issue arise while we were there and Massimo was very quick to respond and take care of it. We loved our time in Palermo and at Piazza Marina Suite.
ALLUCINANTE! SI VERGOGNINO
Premetto che sono una viaggiatrice, ho girato mezzo mondo e ho anche dormito su stuoie, in sacchi a pelo e in motel con scarafaggi, ma mai mi sarei immaginata di dormire per 5 giorni in un lettino con un lenzuolino appoggiato sul materasso senza alcuna protezione e con un cuscino SENZA né copricuscino e SENZA federa. Mai avrei immaginato di dover mettere la tovaglia come scendi doccia e girare per casa con un salva-slip in mano alla ricerca di un cestino perché nel bagno non ce n'era neanche l'ombra. Mai avrei immaginato che in un soggiorno di cinque giorni mi avrebbero lasciato solo 2 asciugamani e che in bagno ci fossero due boccettine di sapone di quelle che si vedevano trent'anni fa nelle pensioni a due stelle. Mai avrei immaginato che in un appartamento dove troneggiano due televisori in uno funzioni solo il primo canale e l'altro abbia l'audio inudibile (dopo averle provate tutte. Mai avrei immaginato che prenotando su un sito come DOMUS SICILY che propone ville all'apparenza stupende e appartamenti incantevoli ci saremmo ritrovati (eravamo due coppie di amici) a litigare per un sorso d'acqua al nostro arrivo vista la misera e solitaria bottiglia lasciata in frigorifero come regalo di benvenuto. Appena siamo entrati nell'appartamento, accompagnati da un ragazzo che in tutta fretta (2 minuti) ci ha lasciato le chiavi , abbiamo trovato un lago d'acqua nel salone dove galleggiava sporco e pure una gomma da masticare in bella vista. La mia amica ha dovuto prendere la scopa e asciugare tutto prima di farci entrare. Tutto segnalato subito all'agenzia che non si è scusata minimamente. Basti pensare che le spese di pulizia ammontavano a 130€ e "l'accoglienza" bel 40€. L'appartamento sarebbe anche bello ma completamente lasciato andare. Luci improbabili, un bastone per le tende staccato e appoggiato alla parete e in alto il suo bel buco al muro. Tutto accettabile se avessimo speso 20€ a testa come in un ostello (ma io ho dormito negli ostelli e ho sempre avuto una federa al cuscino). Pertanto cari signori se volete mantenere questo business prima di tutto fate un salto personalmente nelle vostre proprietà e abbiate più rispetto dei vostri ospiti. Purtroppo avevamo pagato e non esiste altra protesta che scrivere recensioni reali: Mi auguro che i prossimi ospiti trovino almeno un cuscino decente e un asciugamano in più se stanno minimo cinque giorni. PS La posizione della casa era veramente bella ma il prossimo viaggio andremo in hotel dove se staremo male potremo lamentarci con qualcuno di fisico e non con una mail.

The location here is great, right in the centre of the Kalsa area with cafes, shops, bars and restaurants literally around the corner. The flat itself was quiet, despite being in such a popular area, and stayed cool all day which was great. The check in good, the management company rearranged the check-in time for us when we were delayed at the airport. The flat was a little different than in the photos, with more wear and tear than we were expecting, and not quite as clean as we would have hoped. The whole place needed a bit of TLC. Having said that, we would probably stay there again, because of the location and the good price.

Siamo stati da voi dal 14 al 21, grazioso appartamento nel cuore di Palermo in un bellissimo palazzo antico molto caratteristico, vicino alla vucciaria dove respiri tradizione e assapori tutto di questa meravigliosa città nelle zone limitrofe le spiaggie più spettacolari, munito di ogni confort personale gentile e cortese grazie di tutto avere reso la nostra vacanza nella splendida Sicilia meravigliosa sicuramente sappiamo a chi rivolgerci quando torniamo in Sicilia conolimenti x tutto
Delizioso appartamento nel centro storico di Palermo a due passi dall'antico porto turistico, immerso nella movida palermitana, circondato da palazzi monumentali. Accoglienza e gentilezza hanno caratterizzano un indimenticabile ma purtroppo breve soggiorno palermitano
