A wooden staircase leads you from the garden to the apartment on the first floor. Spacious anteroom, combined dining-living-sleeping area on well-spaced 60 m², only wooden beams mark the individual areas. Outfitted with antique spruce furniture, the windows open to views over tree crowns into the landscape. The basic materials wood and clay plaster combined with oiled, antique wood furniture create a homey atmosphere. The addition of wax blobs to the clay plaster provides a natural air conditioning and agreeable temperatures even during high summer. 1 double bed, 2 single beds, eating area for 4, high-quality stove, plenty of kitchen utensils.

4x holiday apartments and 3x rooms in the countryside with regional breakfast. Our regionally typical country house has been revitalized with great attention to detail. Located on a quiet hill in a sunny isolated location between Feldbach and Riegersburg, the Sonnenhaus welcomes guests. Surrounded by a spacious orchard garden, it invites you to arrive. Comfortable lounge with sauna for private use. Fire bowls and charcoal grills are ready for a nature-close evening.

We are deeply rooted in the Vulkanland Styria region and place great importance on sourcing food from the immediate area. In the old press, we happily serve a breakfast with delicacies from our neighbors.

The mild temperatures in the region are also pleasant in winter for gentle outdoor activities. Directly from the Sonnenhaus, hiking paths lead to culinary master establishments such as Vulcano ham and Zotter chocolate. A tour of the brewery in our neighborhood invites you to philosophize about the utilization of this region. Along the Vulkanland Route 66, gourmet factories and cultural highlights are densely packed together.

Highlight in the Advent season: On the last Sunday before Christmas, we join together for a morning hike to get into the festive spirit. At the winter solstice, we welcome the return of light. A delightful Advent experience.

E-charging station on site. Rental of e-bikes and bicycles with direct access to the cycling network. In the low season, we are happy to offer the Sonnenhaus for small seminars or provide geomantic workshops for a deeper understanding of the surroundings.

Good to know: Wi-Fi is available in the communal areas of the Sonnenhaus. Due to the thick walls, reception in the holiday apartments is often limited. In the cooler months, we provide bathrobes; in the summer months, we omit them for energy-saving reasons.
