Description

Entering the boat you will find the sliding doors that give you acces to the living area. The nice thing about the houseboat is that you have a wide view over the water from the living area, this is the unique part of this experience! Do take in to consideration that it is a boat and that it will be rocked by the occasional waves. Something I personally love and I guess you too :).

In the back of the boat you find the main bedroom (2 persons bed) which basically just has the bed.
The second bedroom has a one persons bed, countertop and hanger across the width of the room to store/hang your belongings.
Most of the time this nice room is used as a place to leave luggage but also as a single bedroom.
The last room has the bathroom where you have all the basics; shower, toilet and sink.

The kitchen has all the utilities you need for a short stay in Alkmaar considering you will be out the door most of the times.

Walking along the same street of Mi Casita you reach the hart of city center at 1500 meters. There are plenty of boats and boathouses on your way, a typical Dutch ambiance! The view from the boat is beautiful as you look out over the water and nature on one side. On the other side there is some industry but this part is blocked by the walls. Take the bike if you want to go for a longer tour!
