The holiday apartment "At the Forge" is 65 m2 in size and features a spacious living and dining area with an open kitchen, a shower room, and a separate bedroom. In the living and dining area, a cozy wood-burning stove creates a warm fireplace atmosphere. The holiday apartment is equipped with a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed and offers space for 2 to 4 guests.

Our holiday apartment is centrally located in the small and idyllic village of Neunkirchen in the Westerwald - directly opposite the village fountain. Our philosophy is “Arrive, switch off, feel good”! This applies equally to humans and animals.


Our accommodation is an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling or horse riding. We are located directly on the Kingfisher hiking trail and near the WesterwaldSteig. There is seating in the garden, as well as a motorhome parking space.


Of course, dogs are also very welcome here! (Registration required, surcharge €5 per dog/night)

Our “Westerwälder Pferderanch”, a Westerwald-Taunus trail riding station on horseback and holiday on horseback that has been certified since 2022, is also located in Neunkirchen. The farm café “Brechelbacher Hütte” is just a 5-minute walk from the holiday apartment or ranch.


By arrangement, it is also possible to accompany the tours or ride out with our guides and trained trail riders, either with your own horse or with one of our rental horses!


The surrounding area is always worth a visit. Limburg, Herborn, Weilburg, Braunfels are always beautiful with their old town and castles. The Marienstadt Monastery or the Stöffelpark can be easily reached by car. In Weilburg and Bad Marienberg there are wildlife parks and a high ropes course and swimming pools and lakes are also ideal for swimming. The nearby Lahn offers the opportunity for an idyllic canoe trip. There are also some castles (Greifenstein) and a stalactite cave (Kubach) nearby that you can visit.
