“Sainihåns” – this is the rural pronunciation of the market community St. Johann in Tirol. Here, hospitality is lived with all one’s heart, and guests are introduced to Tyrolean culture and cuisine in every corner of the region.

The charming holiday resort is nestled between the mighty Kaiser Mountains and the Kitzbüheler Horn. The region-typical, vibrant town in the Kitzbühel Alps entices with traditions, festivals, beautiful shops, boutiques, and restaurants. A warm market community that provides charming variety during your holiday.

In the midst of greenery, at the foot of the Kitzbüheler Horn, we have found the perfect holiday chalet for you. Typically Tyrolean, covered with wooden shingles, the small house is located on a large organic farm with a big main house and an adjacent stable building. The main house is also available for Almliesl guests for a fantastic group holiday in the countryside. Many horses, ponies, and farm animals frolic on the lush fields around the lovingly maintained ancestral farm. With a unique view of the Wild Kaiser, the most beautiful hiking and mountain biking tours in the region start from your chalet.

The two apartments can also be booked together for up to 14 people. They can also be booked in addition to the main house.
At the farm, plenty of action is offered for all holiday guests. In the adjacent playhouse, a cozy chill-out lounge, a foosball table, and a table tennis table provide fun during bad weather.

On the slopes in the ski paradise Kitzbüheler Alpen

Just 500 m away is the Rüppenhang ski slope from your holiday home. For the additional ski kilometers, it's best to use the ski bus, which departs from your doorstep. You can also quickly descend with the sled on the toboggan run behind the farm area. Cross-country skiers or ski tour fans will also get their money’s worth with the extensive trails and tour networks.

Your summer at Tyrolean power spots

Start your hiking and mountain biking tours directly from the farm into the Tyrolean mountains. From the local mountain, the Kitzbüheler Horn, you have numerous hiking tours. Particularly exciting are the highly sensitive moor areas of the Kaiser Mountains in Going at the Wild Kaiser. They are witnesses of time and habitats for rare animal and plant species. Set out and explore the renatured moor landscape “Moore & More”. You will be gently guided along educational paths in a fun way through the flora and fauna.

Tip: Head to the Hornpark climbing forest for young and old alike. A high rope park, divided into different levels of difficulty, is “a huge fun” for EVERYONE. The king discipline is the Flying Fox. So, who dares?
