The Leite Häusl is a small vacation house, completely renovated in 2021, in the vacation region Wipptal and its mountain valleys in the mountaineering village St. Jodok at the entrance of the Schmirn- and Valsertal. In summer it is the perfect starting point for hikes, walks and (e-) mountain bike tours. Likewise, the Peter Kofler via ferrata and the multi-pitches on the Stafflach Wand are just a few minutes away on foot. In winter it is perfectly situated for ski tours, snowshoe hikes and winter walks furthermore the skiing area "Bergeralm" is only about 10 minutes drive away. Also a free ice skating rink is within walking distance.
The Leite Häusl is situated in a secluded location, about 5 minutes walk from the train station in St. Jodok.
A country butcher shop, which carries regional sausage, meat and cheese specialties as well as groceries for daily use, is about 5 minutes away on foot.
