Descrizione
Acquired in 2021 as the oldest listed half-timbered building in the village; completely gutted and restored in stages using natural building materials (clay, straw, sand, reed, various types of stone, hydraulic lime....). A combination of rustic and modern design elements allows for a very cozy stay. Through wall openings and exposure of the beams, interconnecting spatial zones were created.
Open and bright, illuminated by many windows, the hallway-kitchen-dining-and living area. The bathroom is spacious - equipped with a walk-in shower, large sink, toilet, and bidet. One bedroom and an optional sleeping and living area currently accommodate 4-6 people. (The upper floor is under construction)
Cozy warmth during the cooler seasons is provided by wall and underfloor heating. Located behind and above the house level is a large natural garden meadow with a view of castles; lounge and seating options are available. Close by are forests, meadows, rocks, lakes, streams, and springs, with the night sky being a paradise of stars, pure nature in immediate proximity. The cross-border biosphere reserve of Pfälzerwald-Nordvogesen is a legendary natural paradise.
