The apartment is 90 sqm in size and features a large, fully furnished and equipped living kitchen with stove and oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, and plenty of cooking and dining utensils as well as table linens. The large dining table offers enough space for 4 people. Ideal conditions for cooking together, enjoying a cozy meal, or possibly having a game night.
The cozy, bright living room is furnished with a sofa bed (140 cm wide), an armchair, and a small side table. Beautiful solid wood furniture gives the room style. There is a large flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi available.
In the bedroom, there is a double bed 190 cm wide and a large wardrobe. The connecting door leads to a small heated winter garden where one can have breakfast or retreat even in bad weather.
In the bathroom, which has natural light and ample space, there is a shower, 2 sinks, and a toilet.
The very large balcony is partially covered (glass and sun protection). A large terrace table, 4 chairs, and a bench provide plenty of space to enjoy meals outside or spend time. From here, one has a beautiful view of the gardens and buildings of Schloss Fürstenau, making this place unique.

Our half-timbered house is located in the historic district of Steinbach, right next to Fürstenau Castle and the Einhard Basilica. The view from the apartment overlooks the dreamy romantic castle garden, making you forget that the town center of Michelstadt is only about a 10-minute walk away.
The property is 250 years old and was extensively renovated in 1992/93 according to biological construction criteria. It was important for us to preserve the original character. For example, oak beams and half-timbering have been exposed, and door thresholds have been left in place, giving the interiors an authentic and cozy living atmosphere.
Until 2022, a pottery was located in the extension of the property. Works from that time can be found throughout the apartment.
