The Kurzen Country House – Your Retreat with History

A house with soul – that is the Kurzen Country House, a lovingly preserved farmhouse over 290 years old, set up as a self-catering holiday home. Here you can feel the history in every beam and experience the peace that is so rarely found today.

This is how you stay with us:
Upon entering, you are greeted by the scent of wood and nature. In the hallway, your retreat from everyday life begins. Next to it is a private WC and a simple bathroom with a shower – everything functional and consciously reduced to the essentials.

In the bedroom, a cozy double bed awaits, equipped with regional sheep wool – blankets & cushions that warm and ground you. The kitchen with a classic wood stove invites you to cook traditionally – without haste. At the same time, the stove provides comfortably warm radiators and hot water.

The heart of the house is the old farmhouse parlor from 1730: A warm wood parlor, a large table with a corner bench, a small library, a comfortable couch – everything you need for quiet evenings by candlelight, conversations, or just silence.

Outside: Just you & nature
Around the house, a meadow of about 1000 m² stretches out – entirely for you alone. A place to walk barefoot in the grass, lie in the sun, or let your gaze wander to the sky.

No traffic, no neighbors, no distractions – just silence, nature & yourself.
