In front of the hut there is a large terrace for sunbathing or simply enjoying the wonderful view over the mountains in a cozy atmosphere.
Your luggage, food and drinks are brought to the hut by the landlord, so you can enjoy the hike to the hut without rucksacks and luggage.
The beautiful location makes it ideal for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing - or ski tours, mountain bike adventures at any time and in any weather.
There are also other mountain huts in the surrounding area where you can enjoy a snack or simply sit together in a cozy atmosphere.
Location of the hut: 6347 Rettenschöss The Lochner Hütte is situated in a wonderful panoramic location at 1,400 meters above sea level with a breathtaking view of the peaks of the surrounding mountains. Only a few huts in Tyrol offer such a fantastic view of the Wilder Kaiser and the Zahmer Kaiser. In addition, there is a fantastic distant view over the Lower Inn Valley. The Lochner Hütte is part of the Kufstein area.
The hut is primarily built from wood and is a truly unique alpine hut.
The hut is ideal as a hiking hut in summer and as a ski hut in winter.
Extensive hiking and ski tours can be started directly from the hut.
In summer, the hut can be reached by car. In winter, the Lockner Hütte can be reached on touring skis (approx. 5 kilometers). The rustic hut is situated at approx. 1400 m with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
