Attic with terrace and view on the roofs of Bologna, a few minutes from Piazza Maggiore.
The apartment is on the third floor of an elegant building with an elevator. The entrance leads to the open space, enriched with a wooden floor and a ceiling with exposed beams, which make the room warm and cozy. On the left there is the open-plan kitchen fitted with all amenities, including a dishwasher, a microwave and an espresso coffee machine, while on the right there is the living room with two comfortable sofa beds, a TV and a dining table.
The sleeping area consists of a bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed and a wide wardrobe, and a bathroom with shower.
Free wifi, washing machine, air conditioning and heating will be available in the apartment.
*Please be informed that the city center is a limited-traffic zone, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.
Around 2 km from the apartment there is the central train station, while the airport is 20 minutes away by car.

This is a wonderful apartment in a great central but not touristy location, an easy 5 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore. The restaurant next door - della Santa, is fabulous, and there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in walking distance. There is lots of natural light and wonderful views, especially of the hills surrounding Bologna (and San Luca!) from the terrace where we spent many nice mornings. The large bed was comfortable, as were the couches. Since it is an attic space, if you're taller than about 5'7", you'll be ducking a lot, especially in the bathroom. The elevator goes up to the 3rd floor where the apartment is but there are 2 steps to get to the door of the apartment and then another 10 up to the apartment itself. It is a quiet so we had no trouble sleeping at night. There are two air conditioners, one in the bedroom and another in the great room. The internet info is in a frame sitting on the black cabinet right at the top of the stairs as you come in and the washing machine is behind doors under the eaves in the bathroom. There were no mugs (only espresso cups), so we bought a few and left them behind. There is a kettle (not electric) but no teapot. There are 2 small mokas and a Nespresso machine. Wonderful Italy will give you the telephone numbers for taxis but not call for you. Since telephoning for taxis can be unreliable in any case, we used Cosepuri (a transportation service) to get to the train station. They were reliable, efficient, and reasonable - only 16 euros from the apartment. All in all, we were very comfortable and happy with the apartment and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
