Staldenried can be easily reached by car in 20 minutes from the district capital of Visp, 10 kilometres away. You need small change for parking. There are strict controls and the buses are expensive. You can also pay with Twint and simply extend the time with your mobile phone (approx. 20.- per week). The small mountain village of Gspon can be reached by cable car from Staldenried in just over 7 minutes at a lofty height.
