The holiday home is a beautiful 17th-century village house with enormous charm and a nostalgic atmosphere. A perfect balance was found between new and authentic interior elements. All bedrooms have a private terrace. The house consists of a ground floor and an upper floor accessible via an external staircase. In fact, this house is also ideal for 2 families, as there is a living room and kitchen on both the ground floor and the first floor. The house is always rented as a whole. This authentic holiday home does not require air conditioning. In this region, the evenings cool down pleasantly for a good night's sleep.

The garden is particularly cosy with lots of herbs and plants. There is a barbecue, but also an egg-cooker in which you can prepare delicious dishes. At night it is very atmospheric and romantic because of the illuminated garden and swimming pool.

The Cathar castles with their mystical surroundings are also well worth a visit. At 40 minutes you are in the village of Bram and can rent a boat and take a beautiful nature trip on the Canal du Midi.

For those who prefer something more adventurous, you can also go kayaking and rafting nearby. Its beautiful location on the Voie Vert makes it a true paradise for hikers, cyclists and horse riders. An hour's drive takes you to high mountains such as Ax les Thermes, Andorra and historic cities such as Carcassone, Toulouse and Perpignan. Excellent for day trips.

Sports tip: House is on mountain bike route and close to a tennis court. There is also another great cycling route : An old railway track was renovated into a cycle path (Voie vert).
