At the foot of the Hochwurzen, in the middle of Rohrmoos in the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region, you will find our Braunhofer guesthouse. Our location, close to numerous hiking possibilities in summer and directly at the ski slope in winter, speaks for itself.

Our guesthouse invites you to relax. Freely following the path of "gentle tourism", our focus is on a cosy stay with delicious catering. For this purpose, we have lovingly furnished comfort rooms in our farmhouse, equipped with shower, WC, satellite TV and with a balcony offering a panoramic view of the fascinating mountains of the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region.

Already at breakfast you will be spoiled with products from local farmers. This is of course also the case at dinner, where we serve them in the form of Austrian and international dishes.
While you enjoy our imaginatively prepared culinary delights, the little guests of our family-friendly guesthouse can romp around to their heart's content in our large playground. So there is certainly no chance of boredom!

Our location on the Hochwurzen in Rohrmoos makes our guesthouse the ideal starting point for numerous hikes of all levels of difficulty in summer. The Hochwurzen is also home to numerous other leisure activities, such as mountain go-karting, mountain bike tours and fantastic panoramic walks in front of the picturesque landscape of Schladming-Dachstein.

In winter, you are only 300 metres away from the Hochwurzen-Obertal cable car. The nearby ski slopes can also be easily reached on skis via their own ski trails and also include access to the kilometre-long world of slopes of the world-famous 4-mountain ski circuit. Of course, with numerous snowshoe and winter hikes as well as the toboggan run from the Hochwurzen, which is illuminated at night and can be used at any time of day, and with a kilometre-long cross-country skiing trail network into the Obertal and Untertal valleys, there are also numerous opportunities to make your winter holiday unforgettable away from the ski slopes.
