History

It is a house with history that is over two hundred years old at its core. It is located in the old village centre of the Westerwald village of Niederhofen and there are also other old half-timbered buildings in its vicinity. It served the families as a sideline farm. People worked in the mining industry and the small farms in the villages with very little agriculture helped them to survive.

During the renovation, care was taken to leave the rooms and many elements, such as floors, unchanged in their structure, so that the architecture remains unaltered. As a result, the house has retained its old charm - with old doors and creaking floors. The garden is bordered by beech hedges and lilac hedges. From the bedroom you look into a small vineyard.

The house offers a large space of about 140 sqm., plus a garden with terrace and parking for 3 cars.

From the large living room you enter the small garden. The terrace, bordered with potted flowers, offers seating on comfortable classic garden chairs - a beer garden set, table and benches, is also available.

A fireplace on a bordered natural stone base provides romantic summer evenings with the flames. The embers of the fireplace can then be used as a barbecue with a matching grate.
