If the rental contract is canceled in the period of 6 to 2 weeks before arrival, a lump sum of 40% of the rental cost will be charged. If the booking is canceled in the period of 14 days up to the day of arrival, the renter is obliged to pay the entire rental amount, less saved expenses of the landlord (flat rate 10% of the rental amount). The tenant may, with BAIS's consent, obtain a new tenant who will assume the rights and obligations of the rental agreement. BAIS therefore recommends the conclusion of a travel cancellation insurance.
