At the end of 2014 we bought an old house in Idar-Oberstein at the foot of the Schlossberg. It was built about 100 years ago and was a jewellery and chain factory. The idiosyncratically twisted, bright rooms are distributed over about 360 sqm and have a very special charm for us, which has inspired us a lot. In the course of the renovation we have tried to restore the old furniture and objects, that we found themselves revived. With a lot of imagination and attention to detail we are succeeded in 4 years, besides our private apartment, the seminar room, the garden and the first holiday apartment to be built. But we have not yet reached our goal. In the coming years, a wellness area, a further holiday flat, as well as a laundrette will be built.

In a relaxed atmosphere and central location we offer you in our "holiday factory" a 50 sqm non-smoking apartment for max. 3 persons, incl. garden use and WLAN accession.

The house is situated at the foot of the Schlossberg, in the immediate vicinity of Felsenkirche and Castle (900m).

Our holiday flat offers a beautiful view over the district of Oberstein. Whether by foot, bicycle or car, from here you can comfortably start your trips to the various sights of the city, or via numerous hiking trails, into the nearby Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park.

The bus stop and train station are just a few minutes' walk away, as are Pedestrian zone, supermarket, bank, baker, butcher, ice cream parlour and gemstone shops. Washing machine and dryer can be used for a surcharge of 5 €. A Ironing station is available on request at any time. Bicycles can be stored indoors.

Unvaxed and mask relieved guests are always welcome!
