This romantic holiday flat for 2-3 persons is organised in a medieval house listed as a national heritage. Fully renovated, its elegant decoration combines Alsatian antiques and modern comfort. The restoration works largely made use of the traditional techniques with organic and healthy materials (untreated wood, natural paintings with lime wash, no chemicals, etc).

A fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful living room with sat TV, a romantic bedroom (with a large bed) and a comfortable bathroom do make this apartment a perfect choice for a long stay. And on top of all, Riquewihr is a wonderful base to discover all of Alsace as well as some of Germany and Switzerland.
A must for Slow Travelers!

Wir waren begeistert von der Komunikation. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise war alles perfekt! Der private Parkplatz war super, die Unterkunft himmlisch und genau so wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Zu erwähnen ist die Kirche. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat kann sie nicht ignorieren, jedoch wurde auch da vorgesorgt und es liegen Ohropax bereit. Von diesem schönen Fleckchen Erde aus kann man tolle Touren starten. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Super Ferienunterkunft, die sehr komfortabel und stilsicher ist. Wir merkten, dass die Ferienunterkunft mit viel Liebe und Arbeit renoviert und restauriert wurde! Es war ein Komfort, wie in einem erstklassigem Hotel! Es war einfach schön, abends in diesem Refugium zu schlafen! Diese Ferienunterkunft der Familie Krebs in diesem besonderen Umfeld können wir jedem nur wärmsten empfehlen! Wir machten Fotos von der Ferienunterkunft, die wir Freund*innen begeistert zeigten! Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der schönen Ferienwohnung in Riquewihr. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich, freundlich und entgegenkommend, vielen Dank!Unser kleiner Vierbeiner durfte auch mitkommen;) Riquewihr hat eine schöne historische Altstadt mit vielen Gässchen, kleinen Läden, Cafes und Restaurants und ist umgeben von Weinbergen. Der Ort ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Colmar liegt nur 20 Minuten entfernt.

My wife and I stayed 7 nights in The Sentinel. Firstly, instructions and directions regarding where to park on arrival in Riquewihr, where to locate keys and our accommodation were excellent. The Sentinel was welcoming, very comfortable, well equipped and gave us a sense of home. There is a narrow staircase to negotiate from the street which with a suitcase may challenge some. Once in though the stairs just add to the overall charm of this accommodation. We were sorry to leave and we highly recommend this accommodation to anyone heading to Riquewihr.

Superwohnung für ein paar Tage zum Erholen.
Sehr kurzer Weg zum Parkplatz und in wenigen Minuten ist man schon zu Fuß in der Dorfmitte mit vielen Restaurants.
Das offene restaurierte Fachwerk gibt ein tolles Flair.
Die Küche mit Vollausstattung, trotz der Größe und ist für 2 Personen ideal.
Abend und in der Nacht ist es sehr ruhig.
