Holiday house Villa Il Castagno in Sassetta, Tuscany

The spacious holiday home Villa Il Castagno is located in Val Canina near the small health resort of Sassetta (500 m above sea level) in the province of Livorno. The surrounding landscape is characterized by ancient chestnut forests and the Macchia, an evergreen shrub formation. The sea is about 15 kilometers away from here.

The holiday home has 11 sleeping accommodations. The total living space of 160 square meters is spread over two floors, and you can fully utilize the generous outdoor area with a garden (500 sqm), terrace, balconies, and a garden pavilion.

The interiors are decorated in a Mediterranean style and include all modern amenities such as a dishwasher, washing machine, satellite TV, and WiFi.

You enter the house through the entrance on the ground floor and then into an open living room. Here, there is a seating area with two comfortable sofa beds. There is also a dining group that can accommodate up to 15 people. An open kitchen adjoins the living room with a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, and freezer compartment.
An open staircase leads to the upper floor. Here there are 3 bedrooms, two with a double bed and a single bed and one with a double bed and a sofa bed. A baby bed is available on request. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower.

You will find a washing machine in the utility room of the house on the ground floor.

For your morning refreshment or for cooling off in between, a pool (6 x 12 meters - the pool is not heated) is available all year round, which you share with the guests of the adjacent holiday home "Villa La Quercia." Of course, you can rent both holiday homes together, for example for family celebrations.

In front of the holiday home, there is a furnished terrace. Here you can sit comfortably outdoors and let the pleasant climate in Tuscany affect you. A second seating group is located behind the holiday home. There is also the grill, which invites you to cheerful barbecue evenings. Even if the weather does not play along, you can still enjoy your meals outdoors, as the seating group is protected by a pavilion.

The landlords offer their guests the opportunity to use the private dune located in the seaside resort of Marina di Castagneto (about 15 km). The northern coastal strip, which is about 10,000 square meters, is wonderful for sunbathing. In addition, you will find a partially fenced botanical garden where beautifully stunning flowers and plants grow.
