Welcome to the mountain hut! You can look forward to:
3-room hut for exclusive use, approximately 50 m², 1 floor, fenced property, 2 bedrooms, wood stove, furnished terrace, sunshade, sun loungers, barbecue area, wood storage, hot pot, comfortable separate bathing hut (20m²) with sauna, sink, shower, and toilet; pets welcome – dogs must be leashed. Mountain biking & cycling in the alpine region is not allowed!

Stunning and picturesque is your view from your unique holiday hut. High above the paradisiacal holiday region Zell am See – Kaprun everyday life becomes insignificant and stress loses its meaning.

The deep blue Lake Zell sparkles at you as your gaze sweeps far over the snowy mountain peaks, left to the towering Grossglockner and right to the famous glacier area Kitzsteinhorn and even further. The combination of skiing enjoyment, hiking, and lake experiences is particularly appealing and offers a huge selection of sports and leisure activities.

Rita and Karl, the owners of the holiday hut, warmly welcome you to their farm. They will accompany you to the hut and explain all the special features and details. The charming mountain hut has a rustic appearance with sun-blackened wood and a creaky front door. Inside, it impresses with unbeatable coziness.

The rooms have recently been lovingly renovated and modernized. In the bedrooms, both the wholesome mountain air and the high-quality solid wood beds guarantee restful marmot sleep. The spacious bunk beds are particularly popular with children.

For an unobstructed holiday enjoyment in the mountains, please note that car access is only possible during arrival and departure (for luggage transport). In the meantime, cars will be parked at the inn Mitterberg, which is 2 km away (€ 3.00/day). From summer 2023 onwards, guests will be transported by the landlord with a vehicle to and from the hut upon arrival and departure. This way, the flora and fauna of this beautiful landscape is protected. With respect to sustainability and consideration for grazing animals, wildlife, and forests, cyclists, mountain bikers, and e-bikers are completely unwelcome. Rita and Karl have the best tips for your hiking holiday.
Definitely plan to reach the summit of the Schwalbenwand, the Schönwieskopf or the famous Hundstein within two to three hours. In just one hour of hiking, you can reach the managed Schützingalm with regional delicacies, as well as the inn Mitterberg, which is only 20 minutes away.

Your winter between hut romance and skiing fun

Your mountain hut is located in the most exciting and laid-back ski region of Salzburg. Zell am See – Kaprun, Rauris, Gastein, Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, Hochkönig ski area and so on. If you wish, you will not ski the same slope twice during your holiday.

It is also recommended to simply take a break.
In the cozy living room, watch the thick snowflakes gently falling outside the window, stomp through the deep snow with snowshoes, or explore the extensive ski tour network in the area. That is pure relaxation and nature!
