The name of our house is no coincidence... Enjoy the unobstructed view in an absolutely quiet location right at the edge of the forest in Bermel.

Germany's most beautiful hiking trail of 2011, the "Monrealer Ritterschlag," is just a few minutes' walk from our holiday home. On natural paths, you'll encounter wildly romantic castles, impressive gorges and creek valleys, as well as fantastic viewpoints into the volcanic Eifel and the Rhine and Moselle valleys.
Our holiday home is not only ideal for a hiking holiday. In just about 15 minutes by car, you can reach the world-renowned Nürburgring.
The Eifel town of Mayen, famous for slate mining and its castle festivals, is only about 10 minutes away by car.
In just under 30 minutes, you can reach Koblenz - the host of the Bundesgartenschau 2011, which attracted more than 3 million visitors. Visit the German Corner, the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, the historic old town, and the Electoral Palace. Koblenz also invites you to stroll and shop at any time of the year.
Trier, the oldest city in Germany, is conveniently reached in just about 45 minutes. Explore the Roman city or take a trip to the neighboring Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The well-known Mosel resort town of Cochem is only about 20 minutes away by car. Discover the beauty of the Moselle Valley with its many medieval castles and steep vineyards.
