Activities nearby: A detour to the Holnis peninsula, approximately 15 kilometers away, is definitely worthwhile. It juts north from Glücksburg into the Flensburg Fjord and represents the northernmost tip of the German Baltic coast. Here, you'll find a nature reserve of approximately 400 hectares, which you can explore on well-marked hiking trails with unique views over the Flensburg Fjord and into Denmark. A true paradise for birdwatchers, nature lovers, and plant lovers. Also on the peninsula, facing the outer fjord, is the beautiful, fine sandy Holnis "Drei" beach with its approximately three-kilometer-long, natural promenade. This bathing and spa beach is considered the most beautiful beach on the Flensburg Fjord. Enjoy the wonderful panoramic view of the Flensburg Fjord and the Baltic Sea, all the way to our Danish neighbors.
