. cancellation
a. Any cancellation must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the address of the landlord. Tenant is entitled to cancel the reservation without any cost within a cooling off period of 10 days after signing the rental contract, unless the rental period is commencing within one month after entering into the rental contract.
b. After the specified period mentioned above the following cancellation charges apply to the tenant:
30% of the rental price for cancellation from 10 days after signing the rental contract till six weeks before the rental period;
100% of the rental price in case of cancellation within six weeks of the rental period.
c. We are obliged to strictly stick to our cancellation policy. Bookings for Villa Intermezzo are made well in advance and since we are not a commercial operator any cancellation will be a setback that is difficult to compensate. Experience shows that the residence is hard to be rented out within a period of six weeks. In case of cancellation by the tenant the landlord will try to find a third party for the rental period or part thereof. If successful, the cancellation fee will be reduced proportionately, but subject to deduction of a fixed amount of €75,= and the necessary costs incurred by the landlord in connection with the cancellation.

The houseboat is on the road to Dwarsgracht. From Giethoorn follow the signs Dwarsgracht. The boat is 300 meters after a small bridge. If you see a big spot on the left with a few dumpsters on the left, it's a good time to turn around.
Opposite the houseboat there are some parking spaces.

Luxusurlaub in idyllischer Umgebung
Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Küche und der Schlafbereich liegen tiefer als der Wohnbereich und sind über schmale Stufen erreichbar, was vielleicht für Menschen mit einer Gehbehinderung ein kleines Hindernis darstellen könnte.
Wir haben die Schaluppe dazu gemietet und die Fahrten entlang der wunderschönen Häuser und Gärten sehr genossen.
Tagsüber hatten wir regelmäßig Besuch von einer Entenfamilie und am späten Abend kamen Schwäne vorbei. Wer also Entspannung in komfortabler Umgebung sucht, ist hier goldrichtig!

Der Vermieter bzw seine Assistentin reagieren auch super schnell auf die Anfragen.
Das einzige was wir nervig fanden, war die Lichtschaltertechnick im Haus, für ein Ferienhaus zuviel schnick schnack und wer es zum Schlafen gerne dunkel hat, sollte sich eine Schlafbrille mitnehmen. Es ist da am Morgen recht früh glockenhell!
Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

TRAUMHAFT!!!
Die luxuriöse Ausstattung ist einfach umwerfend. Es fehlte an nichts, und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die Lage ist ebenfalls optimal: 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum ( ebenfalls empfehlenswerten Restaurant, De Otterskoii, keine 10 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Giethoorn.
Das Mieten eines Flüsterboots ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen: Fahrten auf den zahlreichen kleinen Kanälen und im wunderschönen Naturschutzgebiet.
Es war einer der schönsten Kurzurlaube in Holland, besonders dank dieses unglaublich schönen Hausbootes.

Ein“ Traumhaus“ auf dem Wasser!
Es hat wirklich überhaupt nichts gefehlt um morgens glücklich aufzuwachen.
Wann immer wir das Boot betreten haben war es eine wiederkehrende Freude dort wohnen zu dürfen :-)
