The owner Stefano has recently refurbished the villa to a very high standard and has thoroughly dedicated themselves to the attention to details.
ACCOMODATION: Villa Il Forno is 170 square meters divided in 2 floors and can accommodate 6+2 persons in three bedrooms with three bathrooms.
On the ground floor are the lounge with sofa and a fully equipped kitchen. From this area, you find doors opening onto a fabulous patio equipped for dining al fresco. There is an external kitchen, table and chairs, pizza oven, bbq and a relaxing area with sofas.
Two double bedrooms with private bathrooms with showers. In one bedroom, there is a mezzanine with two extra single beds suitable for two children. Small room with washing machine and iron.
On the first floor, there is the master double bedroom with an open bathroom with Jacuzzi.
The villa also has heating, air conditioning (in all the villa), Wi-Fi internet connection available.

If you are going with a group or a family to Tuscany for a peaceful and fun get away this is the spot
We had a wonderful stay at Stefano's house in Lombriciano. The house was perfect for our family of four, including two teenagers. It was private, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was great, and the beds and bathrooms were very good. We especially loved spending time in the beautiful garden, enjoying the stunning views and sunsets. Stefano and his son were gracious hosts, always available and attentive to our needs. We would love to stay again in Stefano's house!
Lorenzo and Stefano were amazing hosts! They were very responsive and helpful, from guiding us to their Villa to making wine tour and dinner reservations for us! We took a wonderful cooking class with Lorenzo at the Villa which was fun and delicious. The house itself is about a 15-20 minute drive to Cortona. Parking there can be a bit difficult but luckily we got the hang of it fast. The surrounding towns are beautiful and fun to explore. There’s a local grocery store not 10min from the Villa and the kitchen is well equipped to prepare your own meals if you’re tired of eating out all the time. However the restaurants in Cortona are fabulous! We didn’t have a bad meal our entire stay. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and we so appreciated their input as we explored the region. The home and surrounding landscape is breathtaking and beautiful. Tuscany was a bright spot on our vacation because of these guys!

There was also a very foul smell in one of the bathrooms during our stay. It was very unpleasant. Host tried to fix it but it came back very soon after.
Beware - the laundry only washes on hot water. We used the cold water cycle and all of our clothes shrunk significantly. When we inquired we were told the washer only uses hot water for efficiency. We wish we had been warned of this because we had to throw out several items of clothing which was extremely disappointing.

We had a lovely stay. The highlight was the outdoor space with a fantastic pool and beautiful view. Really enjoyed the pizza oven outside. Indoors was clean, spacious and comfortable to sleep a family of 7+. Very close to Cortona and not far from other great destinations in Tuscany. Would highly recommend!

Picture perfect stay in Tuscany! Our group of five loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful villa. The bedrooms are spacious and common areas are great for quality time together. Scenic views, great kitchen well stocked for cooking at home, lovely backyard and lovely pool. we had an amazing time in Tuscany. Stefano and his son, Lorenzo were always available to answer our questions. we did not really need to meet the owners in person once Lorenzo handed us the keys and gave us a nice and thorough tour of the property. there were bits and pieces that I would have changed/fixed, which I informed the owners about. however, these will be no issue and won't effect the quality of the your stay. Stefano and Lorenzo, thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful villa and for your hospitality. we will definitely come back regularly :)

Beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside, great sunsets over the pool. The place looks like the photos. The property is close enough for day trips to Montalcino/Montepulciano which we did. We would consider staying here again next time.

befahrbare Schotterstraße erreichbar und liegt in einer ländlichen Gegend. Das Haus sowie der Außenbereich sind sehr gepflegt. Der Außenbereich ist eingezäunt, so dass der Aufenthalt mit unserem Hund sehr entspannt war. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und verfügen alle über eine Klimaanlage, was bei Temperaturen von 40 Grad sehr angenehm war. Die Badezimmer sind alle sehr schön, bis auf eine Kleinigkeit in den Duschkabinen. Hier scheint es ein Schimmelproblem zu geben, das evtl. behoben werden sollte. Ansonsten gibt es in dieser Unterkunft nichts auszusetzen. Der Pool ist ein wirklicher Traum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden dieses Ferienhaus bestimmt wieder buchen. Auch der Besitzer ist sehr nett.

Lovely villa with great views over the Tuscan countryside, in between Cortona and Montepulciano. Stefano, the owner, lives nearby and was very helpful, coming quicky to fix the dishwasher, which was not working.
We travelled here with three seniors and our two ten year olds. The house was spacious enough for all 7 of us. During the heat wave the multiple a/c’s were a god send. The kids lived in the fantastic pool and never tired of it. It was nice to be able to cook outside undercover. Would definitely recommend!
Great spot for a relaxing stay. Close to Cortona and also several supermarkets a butcher and a bakery. Great outdoor kitchen and pool. Don’t miss to visit the wine makers close by.
Beautiful house at a beautiful location. Expectations met from the pictures provided. Very easy communication with immediate response from a very friendly host. Some minor things could have used a bit more cleaning or an upgrade but nothing that took away from our experience. We had a lovely time in this house and I would highly recommend.

We felt right at home the second we walked into the doors. This place is special! Wonderful AC. And the pool. The pool was so very perfect. We enjoyed every second of every day we spent, it was sad to leave. We will be back! Stefano was wonderful. We had one issue with the door locking and he rushed over at 10pm to help us out!!

Beautiful stay in the Tuscan countryside!! Highly, highly recommend this place to all. It was such as great weekend, the place was well cleaned and had lots of amenities, including a pizza oven which we used and loved. The view and outdoor area is magnificent. We want to come back already!

The house was clean, everything we needed was there.
In the master bedroom was no hog water and also a water damage - we mentioned it but unfortunately it was not fixed during our stay. The sofa should also be replaced soon.

Sehr schönes modernisiertes Haus mit tollem Garten und Infinity-Pool. Die Aussicht und die Sonnenuntergänge sind ein Traum. Waren mit zwei Hunden dort, der Garten war perfekt für sie. Er ist komplett umzäunt, und der Zaun ist überall dicht. Die zwei finden jedes noch so kleine Loch. Zahlreiche Städte und Dörfer sind vom Haus aus gut zu erreichen. Langweilig wird es bestimmt nicht.
An absolute dream of a place! Stefano is a wonderful and helpful host. We did a cooking class with him and the food was spectacular. The house is comfy and exactly as promised.
Beautiful villa, spacious, excellent outdoor areas, high spec kitchen. Private and quiet apart from the chickens next door (which weren’t a problem!) Good communication, lovely area. A suggestion - hire e-bikes from Oskar at Vertigo experiences, they’re an excellent way to experience the area.

We loved the place, it was just me and my wife, but we could see there was even a great kids room there. Everything was clean, it looked very nice, the pool was great and had a nice view. Big TV, the kitchen was also great, they had like everything there one needs to make a meal. Even the water in all the rooms is controlled electronically, never seen that before :). Very remote place, not that difficult to reach. Big outlet is just 10 minutes away. Price is very very good for what you get, I have rented a lot of villas in my life.
The owners were very nice and helpful. We had an issue with the WiFi, wasn’t stable. Because we arrived late at night, next morning they were at the house with a remote 4G device and later that day someone came to fix the WiFi. So everything was great in the end, good service. If I ever go back to Tuscany, I would come back here.

Because we arrived late at night, next morning they were at the house with a remote 4G device and later that day someone came to fix the WiFi. So everything was great in the end, good service. If I ever go back to Tuscany, I would come back here.
Very nice modern house, as shown in the photos. We arrived earlier than the actual scheduled check in, but could already use the garden / pool. If something did not work Stefano was always on hand via WhatsApp. Super almost alone location of the house without disturbing neighbors. And was even times a basket of fresh tomatoes brought over. Very nice and familiar. Highly recommended.

La piscina a sfioro un sogno e la possibilità di avere un frigo enorme da bar a parte solo per le bevande e’ un extra fantastico sopratutto se sei in gruppo e soggiorni nel periodo estivo.
Durante il nostro soggiorno ci sono stati dei problemi con l’aria condizionata che non in tutte le stanze funzionava correttamente e un piccolo problema con la temperatura dell’acqua di uno dei 3 bagni. Stefano una volta cominciato il problema ha gestito prontamente la situazione installando un macchinario nuovo per ovviare al disagio, anche se alla fine risolto parzialmente.
Nel complesso la villa è un sogno e siamo riusciti a goderci la vacanza come speravamo. Super consigliata a chi ha cani in quanto la Villa è circondata interamente da un recinto così da poter evitare le fughe dei nostri amati 4 zampe.
