Living in the national park, close to nature. Our apartments are set in the midst of greenery.
From the National Park Center Gesäuse, a path leads past untouched forests and high peaks to Johnsbach.
Here, the Xeis adventure begins right on the way. The total of 6 apartments not only impress with an incredible view of the Gesäuse mountains, but their interior also convinces with a closeness to nature and modern gadgets.

Mostly ecological building materials were used for the construction. The ground floor was built in log construction using Finnish pine. The insulating materials used are made of wood fiber (natureplus-certified). The interior walls were predominantly constructed with clay construction panels and clay plaster. Oak wooden floors and wooden walls create a pleasant room climate. The kitchens and bathrooms are simple and stylish. Each apartment features a separate terrace or balcony. Depending on the orientation, you can see legendary mountains from here, such as the Reichenstein and the Hochtor group, foremost the 2,335-meter high “Große Ödstein”—the mountains that also give the individual apartments their names.

The mountaineering village of Johnsbach has become a hotspot for all those who want to be close to nature again.
