The holiday apartment is located in the attic of the residential building, featuring three large dormers, 120 m² in size, including a balcony facing the lake, completely renovated in 2023/2024. The furnishings are also new, tasteful, and exceptional. A cozy living room with an integrated dining area, stove, smart TV, and play corner invites relaxation. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed (180x200) and bunk bed (90x200) facing the garden, ensure a restful night's sleep. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, oven/microwave, and two coffee machines (filter and capsule). There's a bathroom/WC/shower, washing machine, and dryer, as well as a staircase with a coat rack and a covered balcony.

The holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of Kastellaun, a medium-sized town, with a view of the castle ruins and the churches. It is a very quiet housing complex by the lake with little traffic and short paths into nature and the nearby forest. The shared use of the garden with seating and a grill is generally possible. Bicycles can be securely stored in the garden shed. The old town of Kastellaun, with a variety of gastronomy and shopping options, is nearby, about a 5-minute walk. The cycling path from Kastellaun to the Moselle runs directly past the apartment, as does a section of the Saar-Hunsrück Trail, with additional dream loops accessible within short distances. A large adventure playground can be reached on foot in two minutes. You can reach the Schinderhannes cycling path on the former railway line to Emmelshausen or Simmern, which offers further options, within one kilometer. This cycle path also leads to the path to Mörsdorf with the impressive suspension bridge "Geierlay" (10 minutes by car) as well as the wildlife park in the district of Bell (5 minutes). The distance to the Moselle and Rhine, with well-known towns such as Cochem or Boppard/Oberwesel, is only 30 km. The Deutsches Eck and Koblenz are just 45 km away and offer a nice excursion. Frankfurt Hahn Airport is only 15 minutes away.
